This seemed like a good idea for a show. After watching it, I still think so. However, NBC ruined this good idea with bad writing and bad acting.
The writing was poorly researched, predictable, and had repetitive dialogue with the overuse of trendy phrases. I couldn't help but think this was written by A. I. The acting was another major problem. With the exception of a couple of actors, no one on the cast could deliver a line. I lost track of the number of eye rolls and even laughter expressed after listening to these actors. They had horrible material to work with, but still... It was difficult to watch their acting efforts.
I binge watched this show. Had I not, I never would've stayed interested enough to tune in week to week to see this disappointment.
