Great Twisty Psychological Film
24 March 2024
I really enjoyed this film. I'm a big fan of movies that keep you guessing but get resolved in the end and that was exactly what this was.

The plot of schizophrenia means that you truly don't know what is and isn't real the whole way through. Once the various twists are revealed I instantly wanted to go back and rewatch it again to see what I had missed.

Without giving things away there was at least one aspect or plot element I didn't think was real and while I was close I wasn't correct so that was a fun surprise.

I found the actors to be very believable and it was nice to see Katherine Heigl in a bit of a different, more serious role.

Love Actually (2003)

My Favourite Christmas Movie
9 December 2022
I just adore this movie. Every year I watch it multiple times at Christmas. So many stories all woven together seamlessly with highs and lows across the emotional spectrum.

There's a nice mix of actors and they all fit their roles so nicely. The exploration of love and what it means to different people along with what it can cause us to do is all covered.

Even having watched it so many times I still get lost in the different storylines and even forget some only to suddenly remember them part of the way through.

If you haven't already seen it then do yourself a favour and watch it!

Spent the whole movie with sweaty palms!
10 October 2022
I enjoyed the film for all its suspense and twists. Lots of sweaty palms and feet throughout while I cringed and looked away from the heights.

Few annoying points that didn't make sense and made it less believable and I still don't understand why they didn't try a lineman pole to get down but then we wouldn't have a movie.

If you're familiar with the director you might see the twist coming but that didn't take away from the suspense of the overall film.

I've read quite a few reviews commenting on the technical aspects of the climbing. If that's your thing then yep you'll likely be frustrated. But for the layman who has no experience there it's a general suspense thriller that'll leave you sweaty with anticipation.

Such a creepy movie!

Honestly so creepy and yet I couldn't look away. It's definitely slow moving and sometimes parts seem pointless or disjointed and yet it does make sense in the end. The final scene was just whoa.
