Begins Youth (2024)
The best k-drama I've seen
I absolutely loved this show. The characters, the plot, the acting, it was all incredible, so engaging and intriguing.
I really do hope we get a second season and a release of season 1 in a well known streaming platform because this show deserves to have more viewers and be more accesible to the public.
If you're a BTS fan (ARMY) you're guaranteed to enjoy it more since you'll find a lot of little things that the regular viewer might miss but even if you're not familiar with the BTS Universe I still think this is an impressive series that anyone can enjoy.
The plot does deal with quite heavy subjects though so it might not be for everyone. Do not watch this expecting it to be lighthearted or romantic because it is not that kind of k-drama.
The Royals: With Mirth in Funeral and With Dirge in Marriage (2018)
Put off watching the finale for years...
I put off watching the finale until now because I had a feeling it was going to be bad considering the show got cancelled. I gave in because I wanted something to watch during quarantine and thought I'd give it a shot. As a season finale it's a good episode but as a series finale... it was bad. I'm so sad the show got cancelled I would have loved to see how it continued after that shocking ending.
Interior Design Masters (2019)
Disappointed
I really enjoyed the show overall but I think Cassie winning ruined it for me.
Her designs are so impractical. Her hotel room was the worst one I've ever seen.
Her design for the bedroom in the final episode was about her and not the clients and how come no one mentioned how AWFUL it is for her to have used black for a nursery???!!! No thoughts of the baby whatsoever, the new furniture for the kitchen looked hard to clean which isn't good with a baby on the way, just awful. Frank should've won.
Hamilton (2020)
Incredible
This is the first time I've ever written a review on here but Hamilton deserves it.
It's my favorite musical and I was lucky enough to watch it live on Broadway in october 2018 and it was absolutely amazing but now thanks to this I had the chance to watch it with the INCREDIBLE original cast.
I love how it's just a recording of the show. Best way to captivate what it's like to be in the room where it happens!
Dynasty: Snowflakes in Hell (2018)
Offensive
The fact that they picture Paraguay this way... "no roads", "no plumbing", "alpacas", "no fresh water", "less to their name than a pair of Prada boots", "ginea pig as a local food"..... so damn offensive. I'm not even from Paraguay but I'm done watching this series. Do your research.
