God's Not Dead 2 (2016)
I hate this movie, even more than the first one.
The first "God's Not Dead" movie is already too bad, but this movie managed to descend to a lower circle of hell.
The sequel to "God's Not Dead" has the same mistakes as its predecessor, but made worse: A script even more ridiculous than the previous movie, bad acting, boring and with even more stereotypical atheists than the ones that appeared in the previous movie (this movie wants to make it too clear that (according to the director of this movie) atheists are very evil and want, at all costs, to sink Christians.
Another thing I hated is that this movie does not even give arguments to prove that Jesus existed as a historical character, and that proving the historical existence of Jesus is easier than proving the existence of God (Jesus of Nazareth is mentioned by very reliable ancient historians such as Tacitus, Suetonius and Flavius Josephus). Besides the fact that the legal case of the movie makes absolutely no sense or logic.
I, although I am not a Christian, believe in a Creator, but this movie does not represent me as a believer in God. I hate this movie.
God's Not Dead (2014)
As a believer in God, I hate this movie.
This movie, which is actually religious propaganda (pretending to speak on behalf of all of us who believe in God, this bothers me a lot). This movie has too bad a script, performances that are mediocre at best, and lousy arguments (both for and against the existence of God).
But by far, what I hated the most is that this movie villainizes all atheists, portraying them as amoral and unfeeling people. I am a believer in a Supreme Being who created the universe, but I have atheist friends who are very intelligent and excellent human beings (better people even than many Christians I know) and I am outraged that this movie wants to make believing people who watch the movie think that atheists are evil people just because they don't believe in God.
God's not dead, but He wishes He was dead watching the horrible movie they made in His name.
