South Park (1997)
Funny Comedy, Still Funny Even Now
Suggested MPAA Rating: TV-14-DLSV, TV-MA(varies on episode and season) My Age Rating: 15+
This is a great show. No doubt. It's not as risqué as some people think it is, it has plots, and is actually a show, not a p--n and s-x and dr-g show off.
Four kids, Eric Cartman, the fatass Hitler, Kyle Broflovski, the jew, Stan Marsh, the normal guy, and Kenny, the poor guy. Follow them on their adventures in their little town!
If you are easily offended, don't watch, if you are not mature, don't watch either.
Robot Chicken (2001)
Funny, hit or miss skits.
SUGGESTED MPAA RATING(MINE): TV-14 for Language, sex, drugs and alcohol, violence./ TV-MA(Varies on episode). MY AGE RATING: 15+
Hit or Miss randomness. That's Robot Chicken in a nutshell. Ranging from your favorite childhood movie parodies, to Star Wars, to it's own skits, man, risqué than South Park.
An amazing skit is about Bitch Pudding. Some others you should watch are, Illegal Alien Problem, Dora the X-Plorer, and the Simpsons couch gag. Others are also amazing.
Some bad ones including Tarzan, "those boobs", and 50 Shades of Bags are the misses.
Cross your fingers for a good one.
Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015)
Great movie, even if you are not familiar with the story
MY AGE RATING: 12+ violence, blood, infrequent mild language.
A great movie indeed. The force HAS awaken. I did not watch any of the previous Star Wars, but it is still easy to figure out the previous story. Characters are amazing, Hans Solo, Ray, Finn. There is also humor portrayed in this, mainly with the little cute rolly droid. Unlike "The Scorch trails", this movie is long and watchable.
9 stars, because of the very long length. Probably a 1-time watcher. There is one death though, that will affect Star Wars fans, at the end.
Yes, that's right, it is a somewhat sad movie, especially for die-hard, long time Star Wars fans. Now, I'm not sure if it's the best out of the series, but it is amazing!
King of the Hill (1997)
Boring, Laughless and Pointless Comedy- can't even call it that.
MY AGE RATING: 10+ Mild language, drug/alcohol/smoking.
I saw the Thanksgiving episode on Adult Swim. It describes the whole show- sucky. It was just the family running back to the airport, back to the car, running back and forth in the airport they were in, because their flight was cancelled. Nothing was funny, or special.
The propane salesmen and his family are just.... too normal.
Heck, even Family Guy is better. Sorry Mike Judge, this is your bad side. Coming from the same world as Beavis and Butthead, the two series are different, this one being more appropriate, but it could be funnier.
Want something decent? Watch any B&B, or Idiocracy(movie, but rated R).
Summary: I tried to laugh, but no.
Futurama: Bender's Big Score (2007)
Screwed up plot, but laughs save it from a bad rating.
MY AGE RATING: 15+ for sex, drugs/alcohol/smoking, language, violence. MY MPAAA RATING: TV-R
Futurama will never be as good as The Simpsons were. It is still a good show. Some episodes are plain stupid, some are good, yes, it is a hit and miss. This, can be considered an "episode". It's not really a movie, doesn't feel like one.
The story is that a group of scammer aliens take over the Planet Express, and use Bender to try to take over the world. Leela falls in love with a guy, who at the end, appears to be Fry. Fry has a tattoo on his butt, which is a code for time travel, which Bender uses to travel around. Its risqué, and- kinda stupid.
Yes, some good nice laughs, like when the crew comes to the nudist beach, and the sign says, "You must be this naked to enter". "How more naked can you get?", says Fry. Lol.
Summary: Some screwed up plot, but laughs save it from a bad rating.
The Simpsons (1989)
Great Show.... Before 2000
"Oh no! Another whiny grandaddy blabbin' that the old stuff is the best!"
Well, here I go. The new season they have(by the way, I'm from 2015, people in the future), is nothing compared to the Simpsons before 2000. The new, Every Man's Dream, and the cooking episode, disappointed me BIG TIME. I watch the majority of the Simpsons on demand(yay Xfinity!), and most of the older season episodes are from before 2000. Now that's the stuff I watch after work and leave a lot of laughs and I am enjoyed.
I rarely go on FOX anymore.
I gave this a 7 due to some good early episodes. But, to watch the Simpsons, you can't watch it on Fox. Just don't.
Maybe I am wrong, and there is some good episodes after 2000, but out of my many morning or evening Simpsons eps, I think I have a reason for my review.
The Simpsons: Every Man's Dream (2015)
Bad, Boring, laughless Episode
Weak opener for the season, BARELY any laughs. Hardly any jokes, and the jokes there were - It's just different from the Simpsons before 2000s.
The divorce dream? Aw that's sad. Is it funny? No.
It's not Family Guy yet, but soon it will be if the Simpsons starts going this way. Earlier episodes I watched, before 2010, were not very funny either.
I'd prefer if they left Futurama, at least that show could have good episodes for a bit longer.
For parents: Contains mild sexuality, nothing serious, just what kids can hear at home.
