This is my movie review for Five Nights at Freddy's. I watched it. Let's talk about it and rate it 1 through 10.
This is your spoiler warning before I continue.
Five Nights at Freddy's opens with a security guard attempting to escape through the vents of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. He makes it to the other side. But he is quickly caught by one of the restaurant's animatronic mascots Foxy. You only get to see a shadow of Foxy in the opening scene. The security guard is now strapped down to an operating chair. He is looking at his death. A mechanized mask with saws was creeping closer to his face. Sadly, he did not make it.
The opening scene of Five Nights at Freddy's really set a high bar for the movie's tone. But the rest of the movie fell short. Here's why.
For being a horror movie, this movie really lacked that horror qualities. The first four nights of this movie were just regular nights. There was nothing scary happening.
There was no suspense. If anything, I just wanted the movie to be over because it was not going anywhere. The first four nights were stagnant.
Then night five did not live up to the hype. The opening scene of this movie was the scariest part. But then night five copies that scene with Mike so it took away from that scary element. This movie had a run time of 1 hour 50 minutes, but it felt like an eternity because it was not going anywhere.
I rate Five Nights at Freddy's 2.1 out of 10. If the game is anything like this movie, you can be certain I will not be playing it.
