The movie revolves around Pugazhendi, a journalist who gets a chance to become one day CM of Tamilnadu. What happens next forms the crux of the story. Arjun as Pugazhendi and Raghuvaran as Aranganathan were apt. Manisha Koirala doesn't have much job. Other character artists like Manivannan, Vadivelu did thier job pretty well. Shankar's story and screenplay are totally lit. Coming to the technicalities, Production value, set designs, fight choreography, CGI were totally great (at that time). Music by A. R. Rahman is a highlight. The movie runs for around 3 hours, but you never feel lag. Shankar succeeds in giving a commercial movie with some social message. Highly recommended movie!

Thiruchitrampalam is a Feel-good, Rom-com movie. The story is about Thiru, a college drop-out delivery guy. Performances of Dhanush as Thiru and Nithya Menon as Shobhana were the biggest positives for the movie. Rashi Kanna, Prakash Raj, Bharathi Raja have done pretty good job. Music helps the movie to hold audience's attention. Editing cuts are totally great. Even the story is predictable and cliche at some parts, it has its heart at the right place. Movie has a runtime of around 133 minutes which is crisp. Among the recent action thrillers, give this proper feel good movie a watch. Definitely recommended.

The story of Nayakan revolves around a man Sakthivel, who is forced to become a gangster due to his situation and various stages of his life as a gangster. The first and foremost positive aspect of the movie is Kamal Haasan who portrayed the character Sakthivel alias Velu Naicker, his fantabulous acting elevates the movie to whole new level and followed by the way Mani Ratnam had sketched the characters in the film. Each characters in the movie have their own depth which absolutely went in favour of the movie. Music by Ilayaraja is absolutely fantastic and also the background music in some important scenes makes the scene quite impactful. The dialogues by Bala Kumaran is also praise worthy. Cinematography by PC Sreeram was also too good. The movie has a runtime of 155 minutes but succeeds heavily making the viewers glue on to the content. The screenplay of the movie also moves in a fast pace. Do watch Nayagan!

Asuran is based on the novel Vetkai written by Poomani. Asuran is all about problems and struggles faced by Sivasamy and his family. Once the conflict hits Sivasamy and his family, the movie starts to become more interesting. And it gets carried out till the end of the movie. Asuran is truly a cult classic movie! Because the movie has a very gripping screenplay powered up by some captivating performances from all the actors in the crew. Especially Dhanush and Manju warier delivers solid performance! There are some violent, intense scenes which gives the right feel that the film intends to give! The songs are absolutely good and the background music does a great job on elevating the movie! And this movie has an amazing emotional connect with the audience through out the movie which works largely favorable to the movie! The movie is also technically strong and has a runtime of just 140 minutes! Asuran is surely a must watch movie!

The biggest positive of the movie is the performance of artists in the movie! Especially Sushanth Singh Rajput! Blown out by his performance! The chemistry between lead pair is totally awesome. With it's 100 minutes of crisp runtime this Dil Becharo ticks all the boxes for a perfect romance movie! The BGM and songs are awesome! As the movie ends with "you will always be with us Sushanth", you wipe your tears and have a feeling of watching a good movie! Do watch it! RIP Sushanth Singh Rajput.

The departed is definitely one of the best work of Martin Scorsese. The biggest postive point that makes the movie more interesting is the the way the director had provided proper backstory for almost all characters in the movie. The lead characters have their conflict and they try to solve them, which in turn results again some conflicts. This shows the brilliance in the screenplay. The movie has a run time of about 150 minutes, but still the way we are glued to our seat till the climax portions is clearly depicting that the director had succeeded in his part of giving a edge of a seat crime thriller. Especially, the plot twist at the end makes the movie even more effective. And, the performances of the lead actors are totally praise worthy. Do watch "The departed" for it's intelligent twist and turns and gripping screenplay!

The movie revolves around Prabhu and Dr.Kannadasan. The movie's biggest highlight is the chemistry between Harish Kalyan and Vivek and also the crisp runtime and the climax portion. Even though the second half of the movie moves in a slow pace, the performances of the cast make us feel glued to the movie. This movie is a remake of Hindi movie Vicky Donor, but still this movie gives us totally refreshing and a good watching experience. This Dharala prabhu must be welcomed whole heartedly for taking serious issues like sperm donation and artificial insemination and conveying it in a rather light hearted manner. Give this feel-good movie a try!

The story revolves around two light house keepers and the movie is also based on a true story of smalls lighthouse tragedy. Kudos to director for providing such a different viewing experience! The total movie is in black and white and has a ratio of 1.19:1 which even gives us an unique watching experience! The movie has a run time of 110 minutes but still the movie has a slow pace. The movie has only two primary character and the story revolves around them, but yet this movie turns out to be an entirely different and interesting by the way the film maker deals with the story and the way he presents the final act! The mixing of mythology to an incident that took place in 1800's is really praise worthy attempt! Do watch the light house for it's dark and intense scenes which do provide an unique experience!

The movie is about lives of six different people who have their own problem. How they are connected with each other. Do they have any solution to their problem forms the rest of the story. The most interesting thing about the movie is how it deals with different genres such as fantasy, sci-fi and psychological thriller together and how they connect it towards the end. One would feel extremely satisfied or totally cheated once they reach the climax sequence of the movie. The technical aspects of the movie is totally brilliant. The cast has given their strong performance which makes the film totally convincing. The film maker takes his own time to build over the premise. And once when each story starts to have a conflict, the movie turns out more interesting. I had totally a different experience after watching this movie! You can definitely give it a try if you are bored with the normal masala movies! A unique attempt in tollywood that should be praised!

The biggest positive is people who watch the movie could connect with the characters so well! Among all the aspects you will fall in love with the way of how the film maker wants to portray a pure love! This is a kind of movie that the director has to take care in even small dialogues.. If it is not.. The meaning and experience of the whole movie would become dumb! Kudos for dealing it in most perfect way! And the lead people acting is something beyond convincing that we start to believe they are Ram and Jaanu and we could travel along them in their journey! Overall technically brilliant and world class story telling makes 96 a delight to watch. Do watch the movie in tamil version since it is more compelling than the other versions!
