Dark (2017)
Total nonsense
I saw this because of the high ratings and I am totally disappointed. I as it is don't like the concept of time traveling and time machines and this made me hate it even more. I would have given it a 2 or 3 stars but I'm giving it 5 because it managed to make me watch this 2 season long nonsense thinking something will happen that made it an 8.7 rated show.
What a waste of time! I pity myself. Are all these 9/10 rated reviews bought? Makes me wonder.
Mardaani 2 (2019)
Must watch
Just finished watching Mardaani 2 and could not wait to share how amazing it is.
The movie highlights the topic that brings shivers to me and every other girl and their concerned families - rape and thereafter brutal murder.
It has a great script, brilliant direction and flawless acting. Rani Mukherjee has been a treat to watch after a long break, playing such a powerful role. The guy playing the villain (the rapist) is just phenomenal. I feel so proud as a viewer that Indian cinema has got such talented, young actors.
Mardaani 2 craves for your attention right from the beginning till the end, and so becomes a must watch.
The Confession Killer (2019)
Interesting and gripping throughout
Depicts a logical sequence of events, grabs attention throughout and does justice to the time spent on watching this series.
At times it feels like a few things are just dragged too much. However, it is great compilation of facts and events on the life of Henry Lee Lucas.
Seven Seconds (2018)
Disappointing climax
A policeman is involved in a crime - okay! He and his colleagues friends try to hide it throughout the series - okay! But when everything reveals and it is just too obvious that they did what they did, why such a disappointing end?
The series could have showcased that how these cops were treated just as a regular citizen and this judgement broke all the sterotypes around how the cops are never punished for the crimes they do.
Like after watching so much about the bad these cops do throughout the series, one expects they be punished. Unlike how the main culprit is sent to prison for less than a year and others who helped him hide the crime walk free, that too showing arrogance and rage to the media/public.
Lastly, the flawed character of the lawyer who after being a failure for quite long is finally motivated to solve this case and does everything possible to prove the cops guilty, looses in the end abruptly. Conclusion derived from this series - once a failure, always a failure.
Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019)
Sheer non-sense
A perfect mix of poor storyline, acting, direction and everything else.
Bhoomi as always is overacting; Kartik is poor in expressing emotions (love) for either of the two ladies; Ananya - why is she even there? Acting - zero
Looks - zero. Just another product of nepotism.
The Stranger (2020)
Highly disappointing
The stranger is revealing secrets... Okay! But, what was the need to link them all together in such a clumpsy manner? And, if this was the idea then they have failed to portray the intention of the so called stranger.
Waste of time. Couldn't digest the end. Not well connected. Most of the characters are simply useless and so are some of the incident showcased.
Tip: To know what's in this series, watch only the first and last episodes.
