Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (2022)
Enjoyed it better than the 1st one
Netflix did it again!
Is the movie perfect? No.
Is the movie entertaining? Yes.
If the goal of this motion picture is to capture my attention for 2 hours without checking my phone then mission accomplished.
I was more engaged on this one than with the 2019 bit.
I liked the short haired blond lady's style.
70s Europe vibe.
Enjoyed the accents as well.
Music was meh.
The locations were amazing.
I also liked the fact that they handled the pandemic in the movie as they did.
Realistic, funny and very rich men's world vibe.
Overall this movie was entertaining, had twists and it was nice to watch.
Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
Masterpiece with grace
This movie is in the top 3 for me this year.
Michelle Yeoh is impeccable and moves like the wind.
The script is a reflection of diamond minds.
The action scenes are finally bright, slow motion, graceful like a dance.
But most certainly: the action is meaningful.
They tell a story with every movement.
This movie is amazing work.
It has heart.
It has character development for 5 peeps at lest.
I highly recommended experiencing this movie.
I enjoyed it the 2nd time better.
So many details and nuances..
Sherlock: A Scandal in Belgravia (2012)
Poetry
Make no mistake, this is a movie, ladies and gentlemen. A very very very good movie.
A beautiful romantic violin melody between two souls. The speed and the camera movement is like the viewer is dancing around the characters right in the room. What in the room? Right 3 inches away from the characters. The camera is dancing around them. The connection between the actress and actor is rare and heartwarming.
Beautiful movie. It's better the second time. And the third time it's even better than the second time. Apparently.
Also no spoilers in this review, but boooooy those twist. And the end? You will be entertained for sure. Real quality entertainment of professional artists working with motion pictures. Enjoy!
Daredevil (2015)
Daredevil eats you up slowly like an anaconda!
This show creeps up on you slowly. It's a masterpiece in the long shot Marvel series Netflix shows with unique tempo as Jessica Jones.
Somewhere around the 9th episode you realize they are continuously taking the story into dimensions you never thought they would dare to go with a superhero. And that's exactly how Daredevil should be like! Fearless, beaten up, dark, rough, way over the line. Daredevil is crazy. And in this show you can taste that crazy.
And then episode 11 end scene comes and you're like: "Whaaat? Freakin hardcore! Two more episodes to go? I have no idea where will they take the show." So there are realistic fight scenes, sure. Awesome, he gets beaten up a lot, very down to earth stuff, great. But for me the character development was way more important.
Especially Mr. Fisk. Mr Fisk! Vincent D'Onofrio as the villain elevates the show into heights we rarely see. He steals all the scenes he has with the Mask. He real. How they flesh out his character is wonderful. He loves he hates he is passionate he is out of control.
I highly enjoyed this show.
