The Lost Daughter (2021)
I don't know what I just watched.....
Gave it two stars for effort. Still can't figure out the storyline, ending or why this was even made. I guess the acting was acceptable. Ed Harris is in it, so that's a plus. I'm still confused.
Succession: What It Takes (2021)
You've lost me......
I don't even understand what they're talking about in this episode. Good, God......this series is sure starting to take a very fast nose dive. Struggling to get through it now.
Maid (2021)
Cannot get past the poor acting
I really tried to like this but I couldn't get past the 2nd episode. The acting just got very amateurish. There could have been some great potential in this story but this particular cast couldn't deliver it. Maybe acting isn't in the cards for Margaret Qualley. She is totally emotionless in her delivery. And Andie McDowell's portrayal of her character was completely off the charts annoying and horribly acted. The entire show is unwatchable.
Bloodline: Part 32 (2017)
Wish I could give this zero stars.....
I am so confused and disappointed over this episode that I feel nauseous. What the actual hell were they thinking when they wrote this thing?? This is the absolute worst episode of an excellent beginning that I've ever seen. John is getting on my last nerve and even Sally is annoying at this point. What a shame. I was LOVING the first two seasons so much. :(
Dial M for Murder (1954)
What the heck??
OK.....I kind of liked "A Perfect Murder" (Michael Douglas, Gwyneth Paltrow). So many people told me that movie was a cheap / B-grade imitation of "Dial M for Murder" so, I rented it and tried watching it last night. I think I got through 30 minutes of it. I could not understand a word they were saying. Not one word. I'm not a huge Hitchcock fan to begin with, but....I have heard such rave reviews about this movie so wanted to give it a try. Awful, awful, awful. I truly don't understand the hype. And, in reference to another review on here, the claustrophobia in that drawing room or whatever it is was absolutely stifling.
