Fear the Walking Dead: Follow Me (2022)
Someone cancel this show
I feel sorry for Alycia Debnam-Carey, she is an incredible actor and a better person working with the worst writing in tv. Seriously, the worst.
My 3 points are out of love for her, and if I do not give more it's because this show needs to be canceled and the actor working in projects worth her talent.
Kim coming back to the Titanic is not going to fix anything. Dumb and dumber already made sure of that.
Karppi (2018)
Amazing
This series has been a real find. It remins me so much of Forbrydelsen/The Killing, especially the soundtrack. The show improves with each episode. It's really, really good. I recommend it 100%.
Where the Devil Hides (2014)
It's actually pretty good
I don't know why so many negative reviews, it's actually a good thriller and Alycia's acting is excellent as always.
A Satanic prophecy is about to unveiled in an Amish village, 6 girls and one of them will become the Devil's hand... Good thriller/horror movie for teenagers, that's my guess. I loved it.
Fear the Walking Dead: ...I Lose Myself (2018)
Awful
I've been giving 10 to most episodes this season but only for the actors because they did it great, especially Alycia and Alexa. But we have to admit it was awful and painful to watch due to two main factors: 1. The writing is the poorest thing you can see out there 2. They took aside the main characters and they just disrespectfully made them side characters, only to make this the Morgan show. There is no FTWD but the Morgan show. And he is so full of himself, boring, preaching style Dalai Lama, frustrating... that all the season was Me, Me, Me... Morgan, Morgan, Morgan... Momo, Momo, Momo... so in the final season you just can't stand him any longer, you can't hate him and sadly hate the series. Because, let's be real, this wouldn't have happened if the natural cycle of the series had been followed. I understand that the actors who played Madison and Nick had to go, but season 3 left us with young Alicia who could lead with true humanity, ethics, and morality (not Morgan's self-centered preaching that goes nowhere). The third season left us with a strong young woman locked in a bunker, doing what she had to do to save others without pressure them, without preaching herself, without cheap speeches and without becoming an insufferable being who only sees himself. Please remember the moment when Alicia stood up and asked so humanely that the bitten should sacrifice themselves and then, also humanly, she helped them to pass away in the best way possible. A leader was born, a worthy successor to Madison. A real leader, not a populist. A leader chosen by others, not self-chosen. A leader who sought to do the right thing and build rather than destroy. A leader who had volunteered in hospitals since childhood. This was the natural cycle of the series. But for some heinous reason they changed it for the Morgan show and so we continued throughout the 5 season. The worst thing is the lack of respect and recognition to the original cast that are now only secondary actors. And in fact, Alicia in the fifth season hardly appears, she has almost no time screen. Why? Because it's Morgan show, not FTWD. I hope season 6 gives us Alycia as the leader but I guess the show is ruined because they made it Momo televangelist preaching show.
Fear the Walking Dead: This Land Is Your Land (2017)
Best episode so far
This episode is probably the best of the series. Every second leaves you with your heart in a fist, suffering as they suffer; same anxiety, same fear, same claustrophobia. But what makes the episode really brilliant is Alycia's stunning performance. You just can't have your eyes out of her. Simply stunning. Amazing acting skills. A gem of an actress.
I'm in Love with a Church Girl (2013)
This is anything but Christian
Well... it's that kind of Christianity so fashionable these days that offers a cool God of the world and therefore very lacking in meaning. This is what this movie is, it is a movie of the world, no matter how much they speak of God, it is empty, excessively materialistic and completely leaves aside the essence and the teachings of our Lord.
It's sad to see something like that....
This movie gives a terrible example, not to mention the Pastor.... seriously, what kind of Pastor is that? Makes me sick.
Please be alert to the lie of Satan so present today in Christian circles.
