Mea Culpa (2024)
Great movie, besides the last 20 mins.
If you're looking for a great use of your time then Mea Culpa is the way to go. I recently watched this movie and to put it plainly, it was like watching a masterpiece.
Directed by Tyler Perry and starring Kelly Roland, Mea Culpa told a completely Beautiful story.
Mea Culpa is a thriller movie about characters who embark on a journey of mystery. Despite the obstacles, big and small, the characters in the movie, as well as the viewers, still meet a great end. The performances from Kelly Roland illustrate the narrative of this movie with such a viable effort. Consequently, this film ended up being as Type cast as it is.
It was as if Tyler Perry combined the characters, the setting, and the valued objects within the film and then threw them into a mixing bowl to create a giant serving of key lime pie.
This story of mystery is a triumphant effort on Tyler Perry's, but the last 20 minutes was a mess. The wrap up looked like a b rated soap opera ending.
Overall, I found Mea Culpa to be Mysterious, Beautiful, and Type cast!
Rating: 7/10.
Somewhere Quiet (2023)
Do not watch!
This is not a horror movie or a thriller. It is almost 2 hrs of the most boring stuff ever! The main character is spaced out the whole movie, along with her husband. I kept looking for chances to fast forward in the movie. I still don't know the point of this whole movie it's like OK she went through something traumatic. She can't tell reality from what she's imagining and neither can the audience. This movie should not have been labeled a horror. This movie was a waste of my time. It's one of those movies that you wish you can get your time back. It's like a Netflix movie that you take your chances on and it's a dud.
A Quiet Place (2018)
Too quiet
The movie is so quiet, it almost put me to sleep. You don't get to see the monsters until the end of the movie, and there is nothing scary about them. It could of been a great movie if after finding the monsters weakness they killed a lot of them, but the movie stop short of that...setting up for another boring sequel.
