Make no mistake, Isabel May is the star of this terrific series. She, along with a marvelous cast for top to bottom, did a great job showing the suffering involved in moving Northwest in 1883 to find a better place / life. It got a little tedious in the middle chapters but the last 4 were as good as it gets. Taylor Sheridan is many things but at his core, he is a sensitive brilliant writer. I cried lake a baby the last 15 mins of the finale. Finally, in addition to the suffering, I must add that there was humor, drama, beautiful characters, breathtaking cinematography, and compelling subplots including several love stories. I now watch Yellowstone with a much deeper understanding of the Dutton back story. Don't miss this touching series!!

An easy 10 without Hawke
25 July 2022
WTF. I have never been so turned off by anyone as I was with Ethan Hawke in this documentary. His performance as a goofy homeless idiot was beyond distracting. Every time the film settled into something so very interesting, here come the village idiot with his goofy smile. The subject matter is as good as it gets for a movie buff like myself. It is rich with anecdotes and insights that kept me viewing despite the never ending interruptions by the so called director / moderator. Newman and Woodward stand apart as the most beloved power couple Hollywood ever saw and they gave back in more ways than one. Now I feel compelled to watch so many of their wonderful films starting with The Three Faces of Eve.

Pitch (2016–2017)

This is a very enjoyable series. Clearly they planned a season 2?

Pitch is good in every way that counts. Great characters, acting, and production values. The story line keeps you engaged, I happen to love sports stories but this is much more. The only problem was that it ended without closure on several plot lines including the main one.

I feel certain that the producers thought there would be a 2nd season. I for one was very disappointed that it didn't happen.

A winner from start to finish
8 April 2019
This is superb filmmaking at all levels. The pacing was spot on and the story arcs were skillfully executed. The suspense is maintained throughout; the courtroom episodes were terrific. The actors, especially the lead and the lawyer were just great. In fact, all the actors delivered; no weak links. A must see for fans of drama. The sub-titles didn't bother me at all.

Boring - Predictable
13 March 2019
I'm a real Marvel fan and (ignoring all the prerelease nonsense from Brie Larson) went prepared to love this movie. Samual L Jackson aside (he always delivers), I found the film boring and predictable. As for strong female led super hero movies, I'm waiting on Wonder Woman. CM cannot compare.

Foy has no edge
18 February 2019
Noomi Rapace and Rooney Mara we're both inspired casting choices for the girl / tattoo movies. Claire Foy is not! She lacks the edge to make Salander believable. While parts of the film were good and engaging, it lacked the emotional center that the previous leads delivered.
