Hot Seat (2022)

This is hilariously bad
9 September 2023
This is the kind of stuff they produce at Walmart.

Is this what Mel Gibson's career has gone to?

Did they really made this movie and thinking "oh yeah, that's Oscar worthy"?

They somewhat have a plot but no acting, seriously, it's like they've forgot how to act or didn't take any effort in doing so.

The best thing about this movie is the end credits, it means the suffering is finally over.

Also, Kevin Dillon really needs an early retirement, he's just not a good actor and it felt as if it's an episode of "the entourage" .

Why films like that get made? Who wrote the script? Is there any script at all?

Star Wars: The Bad Batch (2021–2024)

It's a cute show
10 July 2023
The plot lines of this series are often predictable: Omega gets the group into trouble-they figure it out-they learn the important value of friendship - moral of the story- end.

It got boring really fast. Some of the episodes just felt unnecessary.

Omega is the dictionary definition of "annoying".

The animation itself is beautiful, I love the clone wars animation aesthetics but oftentimes, the shots are pretty dark, in the brightness manner.

I have to darken up my living room just to see some ot the action going on in the episode.

All In all: it's a fun adventure for a star wars fan. End.

Dialogue, always dialogue
7 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is not what I expected to see in a spider-verse movie.

I thought I'm going to see THE spider-verse but all I saw was a lame attempt to milk the viewer emotions with little to no success, I didn't care for the characters, not even Miles, because they are ALL spider people and they have the SAME story. They know they can't make it interesting anymore so they throw a bit more spiderpeople like "here you go, shut up"

Also, I didn't understand the plot or where the plot is going, they didn't explain anything and it seemed that everytime they made an advance with the plot and explaining something they ruin it with a lame joke.

I mean, they gave us a villain, a good one which is rare these days but, they showed him for 10 minutes from the movie.

I wanted to love it
21 March 2023
John wick is a power house of action movie franchise, 1-3 were incredible for being an advancement in cinematography and choreography and incredible stunt work, so when they announced a fourth one, well, I was anticipating yet another awesome movie.

I was... Half wrong; while giving me the action I wanted they stretched it for 3 hours with dead unimportant dialogue. 0 emotion.

Every time they built tension in a scene and they stretched it too long, making the tension tiresome and boring, leaving me waiting for the action scenes to keep the plot going.

In conclusion, for a fourth film that concludes a series, like the matrix, they should've let it go at the 3rd film.

Wish it was about Obi Wan
11 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I care very little for kid Leia.

I don't care about Reva.

Why Disney is making shows with a titular character that every one loves and just makes the titular character the background character? I thought it was supposed to be about Obi Wan and his adventures in exile! But instead I get this "try hard" tear jerking story of Reva- the unsuccessful inquisitor that "had everything taken from her" so I should feel a bit sympathy for her, a villain does not deserve sympathy. Even when the story is so BORING.

Sure, I love that they brought Ewan and Hayden back! It's like a dream come true but then, Disney nerfed the hell out them, trying to probably shove a Reva spin-off series down my throat.

Waste of time.
31 March 2022
Who wanted this movie? Why it was made? It's by far the worst cinema experience I have had after "Eternals" (2021), I wanted to get out mid-way, the story felt all over the place, it seemed like Matt Smith and Jared Leto made the wrong acting choice, and there was zero to none movie marketing, no one knew how to promote this disaster of a film. And the only reasonable moment was the mid credits scene.

It felt just like venom 2 but spliced with twilight.

Could've been better
4 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
For a movie based on Jack Kirby's vision, it misfires:

In the comics it's filled with vibrant colors and really different setting than other stories of it's time and in the movie it was completely toned down, in avengers (2012) you had more colors.

The movie was slow in pace, going back and forth in past and present of the characters, you couldn't figure out if you're in the beginning, middle or end of the film, so it felt somewhat plotless.. they could've done something completely different with the celestials that could actually be connected to what we've seen in the Loki Disney+ show or something to connect to guardians 3 but instead they said "let's talk about feelings with almost 0 action" I didn't had problem with the love scenes or even the first openly gay couple in the MCU, I just didn't care or thought of it as a crucial part of the plot but it's okay...

Of course you can't make any movie today without gender swap some characters but, for those who haven't read the comics like myself (but I've read briefly and seen what it supposed to look like) it doesn't really matter, it just seemed like a normal character..

Overall, I wanted to see one thing, got the other and I'm just disappointed, phase 4 is now fueled by almost no plot and no plan.

Detroit: Become Human (2018 Video Game)

Detroit become human, but I wish it didn't.
8 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Well don't get me wrong, I kinda liked the game but I have some issues with it.

It's motion capture at it's peak at it's time and the quality of the graphics and attention to small details are really remarkable this game is another robot movie. I gave it a 7 because I got immerssed with the plot until one point and it's the recall centers or if you'd like: concentration camps.

I didn't like it, it's exaggerated too far for me. There's no comparison and should not be compared.

And no, an Android is not a form of life nor will be, if the game tried to move me to be more compassionate towards the different- it did nothing. When talking of acceptance of other human being, sure I'm all in, but they are androids, nothing more.

Aside from that the acting itself I'd like to praise the actors actually, as I said, it's just another robot movie but thinking they had to act every scene and every possibility is amazing.

The choice system felt pressurized and gave almost no time to read all the options, answer and hope the outcome will benefit me.

In conclusion: aspiring project but the gameplay is somewhat tiring and frustrating.

This is INTENSE
20 November 2020
I don't know if I'm too emotional or the short movie is too emotional but I cried during all of it, it shows the emotional difficulty of loosing a child, and loosing a child because of one monstrous person who decided on morning he's gonna shoot kids in a school, where kids supposed to be safe. The fact that America still not banning guns is absurd. I can't bare in my mind that one day when I'll have kids, I can't bare it in my imagination that they can be killed in a place that supposed to keep them protected, I'm not from the United States but just to think of it, thinking about the parents who have lost their kids and thinking about the parents that their child IS the killer. And all they say is: "thoughts and prayers" like that would help. It won't and never will help. So to sum it all up, please, watch it, this is important.

Uncut Gems (2019)

An uncut gem
13 February 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This movie really IS an uncut gem, all the characters too, the film itself delivers a nice story but they given a lot more attention to a Celtics ball game, you feel mercy for Adam Sandler's character but nothing more than that, he's doing way too much Netflix low budget films just to make ends meet (I think) but he was the leading act of this film and he really deserves the credit he was applaud for, and when his character died at the late peak of the film, it kind of disappointed me for couple of reasons: 1. He was the leading character of the story 2. It feels like a lazy writing for an end: "nah, just kill him" 3. They could've done a better sad ending so there's an ACTUAL REASON to kill his character Also I'm not a big sports fan but I really wanted to see the Celtics win the game at the end of the film! Like I said, the film does give a heavier attention to the basketball game that overshadowing the characters and you wonder if the film is about basketball or about sport betting and the dangers of it or even about a jewlry maker with mid-life crisis. I did stick to the end of it, just out fo curiosity, as I write this I now truly understand why it got the title it is given but still, they could've done it better to persuade me.

The Two Popes (2019)

Amazing portrayals!
31 December 2019
Well, I'm Jewish but now I'm more interested in learning about the Catholic Church just because these two Popes, each of them has a different view on religion, God and people. Anthony Perkins and Jonathan Pryce bring an amazing portrayals of those two heavenly beings (for some people) and I actually read about pope Francisco and I now see HIM through Pryce's acting, it's so natural and nice, they brought the tension, the rivalry of the two and the friendship in the end, how pope Francisco refused all the way and how humble he is. And pope Benedict's insist on keep Francisco as an arch Bishop. Amazing casting, amazing acting and on point portrayals.

Life changing
17 October 2018
This movie really changed my life and my way of thinking! The way Bob Geldof is acting looks so natural as Pink, all the scenes looks so surreal and by that creating a sense that it actually happens and not in the character's dearranged mind! The combination of the film with the album's music makes it even more true and full of emotion.

Haven't seen it
22 August 2018
I didn't even seen the movie and just read what it's about... Adam Sandler just called Chris rock and said "hey, let's be gay guys it's gonna be awesome" and Chris rock just agreed because he has nothing else to do... I love Adam Sandler but he's just making movies for Netflix and chill.... I hope someday he'll make "don't mess with the zohan 2" or something funny again, he made my childhood awesome, bruh...
