Good trailer lured me into a bad movie

Strong performance by Noomi Rapace and absolutely no one else. The alleged "plot" goes round in circles like a toilet flush and has as much to show for it in the end. There are some movies, like Prometheus, that ask questions without bothering to answer them because there is a certain fascination some of us have with inference and speculation but the questions in Rupture are ill-defined so how can one begin to ruminate on the possibilities? I don't know what this movie is trying to say, I don't know what the characters mean about anything *they* say, and the ending was as though somebody had turned my television off before the movie could finish.
