Good story but very hard to follow
5 March 2007
Not Scorcese's best. A long, hard to follow movie comes to a satisfying conclusion but overall it was the least of my favorites of the 2006 Oscar nominated movies. The acting was superb but the direction was choppy. Scorcese is a master of his game but this is not the movie that should have provided him with his 1st Oscar. Raging Bull and Taxi Driver were superior films. Jack Nicholson should have been nominated again for another Oscar. What was Oscar thinking this year? They have not been on the top of their game when it comes to best picture lately. If you want to see a great film, rent or buy Babel. In my opinion it was the best of 2006.

Well done TV movie
12 September 2006
I was a bit skeptical about Path to 9-11. First off I thought it was insensitive to air it on the anniversary when thousands of victims families are mourning. I thought, wow 5 hours no commercials, this is going to be tedious. I was wrong. It was probably the best TV movie that I have seen in many years. The acting, script and recreations were top notch. It answered a lot of questions that I've had for many years and confirmed ideas that have been in my head since that tragedy occurred. TV movies of this high caliber are rare. I hope that ABC decides to market it on DVD in the near future. Well done ABC, well done.

Saving Milly (2005 TV Movie)

Excellent
10 July 2006
My wife and I caught the movie when it was repeated the other day. I never heard of the movie or Milly. We were flipping channels and since I like Madeline Stowe decided to watch. Fascinating movie with extraordinary performances by Bruce Greenwood and Madeline Stowe. Sometimes touching and sometimes hard to watch as Milly begins to show signs of Parkinson's this movie is a winner. Madeline Stowe deserves an Emmy for her performance. After the movie Michael J. Fox makes a plea for Parkinson's research. This movie will definitely open a lot of eyes on how important it is to find a cure. Definitely worth seeing again and again.
