Black Balsam (2022)
SO BAD
So bad so so so so bad! I don't think there's any other way to describe this movie than pure crap. The acting was TERRIBLE and the script was written by someone who's never seen a movie before. Just so so so bad. You could guess every line and every fake jump scare it was so predictable. NOT SCARY. JUST STUPID. Awful acting I hated it so much. I don't even get how movies like this get made I mean how can anyone think this is a good movie...? Don't ever watch this movie don't waste your money on it. If any reviews out there say it's great and scary they're lying . Nothing original nothing unique it belongs in the trash can.
What Josiah Saw (2021)
OUTSTANDING
Finally a film with an ending that I never saw coming! Sloooow af but it all leads up to the fantastic ending. Music was a rip off from Insidious but I can overlok that. It also had Stanley Kubrick vibes which was nice since he is the greatest director of all time. The actors were very convincing I was drawn into every single thing they did. A lot of "uhh...where the heck is this going ?" But it all makes for a perfect, brilliant, dark and sick film. It all makes perfect sense at the end and I want to go back and rewatch it over and over to catch all the superbly subtle clues I missed the first time. So happy I saw this.
Infrared (2022)
Awful
Just imagine sitting in a chair staring at your wall for 89 minutes. Watching a pile of rocks is more entertaining. Flossing your teeth is more exciting.
To be fair the actors showed some promise but the fact NOTHING happens is still that.... nothing. Ever. Happens.
Bad Ben 7: The Haunted Highway (2019)
Not to be taken seriously! Just fun
It's a comedy....a really stupid yet hilarious comedy! It's not supposed to be a work of cinematic art ..... It's a great, brainless horror-spoof with stupid lines and bad acting. That's the point!
My Heart Can't Beat Unless You Tell It To (2020)
Brilliant
This film is dark and depressing yet so satisfying.
Nothing scary and no "jump scares" in this one its pure acting that makes it such a good film. They all deserve awards because I felt everything they felt.... incredible talent is an understatement. Perfection.
The Vigil (2019)
Slow and creepy
Not all horror has to have a blood, a million jump scares and screaming blondes running around in the woods. This film was smart, original, eerie and very well acted. The plot all came together towards the end and I thought it was excellent!
