Obvious plot, no mystery only boredom..
Do a favor to yourself don't waste your time with this one (or any modern Poirot movie by Branagh).
The cast and the performances are very bad, even worst than my English vocabulary.
I'd like to add that Halloween was not celebrated in Italy (Carnival yes) and in Venice there are no basement.
The development of the plot is a struggle, I can't believe that some reviews are actually positive, some critics must have drink something weird (like tea?!?!).
A movie nobody asked for, a plot changed (again nobody asked to set this in Venice), a perfect recipe for a disaster.
