Best hour on TV so far in 2023, and probably the last 5 years!
11 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Undoubtedly, one of the best hours of TV I have witnessed in a long time! Masterful in it narrative and super tight in terms of direction. The way the director has weaved the story of Logan Roy's death is just about as real as it can get in today's world - with us losing our loved ones and getting the news of it over the phone as we are busy in our owns lives to be even be next to them when they breathe their last!

The camera work was exceptional as it made us numb and feel the pain and loss of each of Logan's kids. How everyone proceses loss is very different and it was best described by the 4 children in their respective ways.

I am just speechless and can't wait to see how the other characters play out, now that the antagonist in Logan is no more!

Simply put - an hour which will leave you numb with is brilliance!

Zakir Khan: Tathastu (2022 TV Special)
10/10
Probably the best by Zakir Khan!
8 December 2022
Just watched this behemoth of a show by Zakir Khan!

The journey I traversed, from laughter to extreme sadness and to a beautiful smile in the end! That is just unbelievable! An undeniably nuanced expression of his love for his Abba, and the respect he has for the biggest influence in his life is just so amazing.

The ease with which he took the audience thru myriad of different emotions is simply incredible!

It definitely feels like Zakir has taken a journey himself - from standup comedy to storytelling, interwoven with anecdotes from his own life. Loved how he could make the audience feel like a part of his family, almost making us feel we were there with him during his childhood.

I would simply say - his best show so far!

Time for Marvel to rethink!
25 August 2022
I didn't want to add a review after the first ep as I thought things may pickup from the 2nd EP. But boy, was I in for a rude shock!

Poor characterization, bad CGI and a completely sorry storyline, which even the addition of Hulk, hasn't been able to save.

It is time for folks at Marvel to thoroughly read the story/scripts before airing a show! She-Hulk has been very disappointing so far!

If you haven't watched it yet, don't take the pain of doing so! You can easily forget this one and move on with other shows instead!

Start of another brilliant show by HBO!
22 August 2022
I began episode 1 with skepticism, and I ended with high expectations!!! Brilliant execution of the first episode, along with a compelling story that has laid the corner stones for a great series. And yes, as exciting as GOT but hoping it will take the bar higher!

Brilliance lies in its nuances!
17 September 2021
First of all, this show isn't for everyone. People may simply watch the first 10 mins and discard it. But the truth is, it's a gem of a show...difficult to put in a genre.

Relationships are tough and the 'happily ever after' isn't the truth in 2021. That's what has been profoundly depicted by Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac in episode one. Brilliant script (not your usual family drama), with great direction and character portrayal by the leads.

Will wait to see how the next episodes unfold!

Disappointment!!!!!
25 July 2021
As a kid, who grew up watching He-Man, this was an absolute let down! Even though they managed a good lineup of voice artists, the lack luster writing just would disappoint any He-Man/MOTU fan...
