4-7 is what movies generally get based on. While not wholly "objective", this part is what I believe constitutes a more objective representation of what a film deserves to be rated.
4 = Failed at what it tried to do, was poorly executed.
5 = Failed at what it tried to do, was well executed.
5' = Succeeded at what it tried to do, was poorly executed.
6 = Exceeded what it tried to do, was poorly executed.
6' = Succeeded at what it tried to do, was well executed.
7 = Exceeded what it tried to do, was well executed.
4 is Poor, 5 is Flawed, 6 is Competent, 7 is Excellent.
After this, I then apply a subjective modifier to the rating above.
If it means little to me, then it remains with its flat "objective" value.
If it means something more special to me, it gets a +2, meaning the worst favorite I have is a 6, the best favorite a 9.
If it means something more hateful to me, it gets a -3, meaning the classics I hate are 4s, and the worst films I've ever seen that I can't ironically like are 1s. The subjective mod for hate is bigger because I feel more strongly when I feel I have been wronged by a movie.
If its very nature is that there is no way to take it seriously, it gets a 10, and is regarded as golden shit, immune to any metric.

Exordium (2013)
Great watch
Solid fantasy rotoscope animation that I think more people should see. While I personally strictly oppose the conclusion it comes to, its story is a great exploration of the comparison between the needs one has for power, and what need one has when one has power. Voicework can be a little quiet at times, but honestly if this was a subtitle-only film that'd be fine, as the music is fantastic and fits well with the visual aesthetic. My understanding is the same team who made this is in the process of making a feature film in the same setting after these events, and I am pretty excited to see where they go with it.
Stridulum (1979)
Flawless Movie, 10/10
Just watched Space-God go on an urban adventure to find surly kid Space-Satan for the sole purpose of shaving her head. Shit was jokes, better special effects than 9/11, would watch again.
