Case Histories (2011)
Quick-witted and Addictive
Wonderful show. Characters are flawed, realistically quirky and highly relatable. Fast and addictive. Acting, plot lines and directing are a 10. Highly recommend.
Five Days (2007)
Disjointed, Dizzying, Depressing
I love all the actors in this series. However, the storyline was disjointed, jumbled, depressing, head-scratching and just plain dizzying. I almost didn't watch the last two episodes but forced myself to finish. I wish I had that two hours back. Haven't been this disappointed for a very long time.
The Following (2013)
An Insult
Tried to watch this ... it is an insult to my intelligence. Watched 3 episodes. Feel like I wasted my time. So many great series out there. This is not one of them. Makes the FBI and police officers look like low IQ dummies living in a parallel universe where an evil serial killer in jail is able to cultivate an enormous serial killer following cult that willingly does his bidding. Preposterous.
Passengers (2016)
Disappointing
Wish I would have read the first paragraph of Rolling Stone's review before wasting my time watching this. "Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt can do anything ... or so you'd think. But Passengers – a chemistry-free, agonizingly slow sci-fi misfire – blows a hole in that theory. Star power can only go so far when the screenwriter (Jon Spaihts) and director (Morten Tyldum) snooze on the job."
