Sad human being
20 April 2017
Colbert held a vigil the day after the election and he's still holding one. No substance whatsoever, just 30 minutes of complaining about the right. More bearable than Samantha Bee but just barely.

Please Colbert, you need a great comedian like Stewart to hold your hand. Otherwise, you sound like an angry child.

the male version of Samantha Bee
20 April 2017
One episode made this realization rather obvious. As the leftovers from the daily show race towards the bottom, we are left with hilarious stupidity as Bee, Noah, Colbert and Oliver embarrass themselves on a weekly basis. Each show basically reaffirms the idea that not only have these clowns not gotten over the election, but they reached full retard in a short period of time. Remember mr. Oliver, you never go full retard.

And on the 8th day, God created James Cameron.
21 December 2009
Warning: Spoilers
I used to think that Lord of the Rings was THE achievement in the film industry. Then I saw Avatar..

The word "wow" doesn't begin to describe this masterpiece. First, let me start out by saying that the script was NOT bad. It wasn't superb either, like LOTR or the other classics, it was just good. However, with the added graphics, it became great.

A lot of people complain about Cameron's propaganda in this movie and that's alright. However, if Cameron's main idea was to get his propaganda across, he failed miserably. He should have made an average movie to get people to listen". Instead, he made the most revolutionary film in the history of movies, and I doubt anyone really paid attention to his "message".

The romance and chemistry between the cgi Jake Sully and Ney'tiri was in my mind, on the level of Jack and Rose in Titanic, or any of the greatest romances in movie history. Furthermore, as a conservative, it was easy for me to cheer for the underdog natives in this film. I wouldn't really use it as an allegory for native Americans or any of the other wars, because that would be ignorant.

In conclusion, this movie was "it". It may not be The Godfather, Shawshank Redemption, or the Green Mile, but it was easily the most entertaining movie I have EVER seen, and I've seen it 3 times already. Everyone get out there and watch it. James Cameron is the best.

Perfection
21 July 2008
This film, for lack of a better word, is perfect. I never thought that anything would surpass the original Batman (1989), but Batman Begins came very close to it, if not equaling it. Then this came out. This movie is easily the best Batman movie and in my opinion, one of the greatest movies ever made. It had everything in it, absolutely everything. People say that Ledger might win an Oscar because of his death. No sir, Heath Ledger will win an Oscar because he played the most amazing villain I have EVER seen, perhaps even better than Anthony Hopkins from silence of the lambs. The entire cast was brilliant but it was Ledger's performance that topped it all. I have seen this movie twice on imax and I plan to see it again. Christopher Nolan, you have earned my respect. I hope this movie breaks all of the box office records.

Look out Bond, Bourne owns you
3 August 2007
I think that we can safely agree that Jason Bourne is a better version of James Bond. Smarter, stronger, tougher, darker. The other two Bourne movies were fantastic and this WAS the best of the 3. The fight scenes in this one were amazing and the action was breathtaking. Matt Damon once again proves why he's one of the top 5 actors on this planet. There were no flaws in this movie. The ending was a little rushed I think but that really isn't a flaw, as this was how it was supposed to end. There is a lot of room for yet another Bourne movie, but I think that would just ruin the trilogy. There's no need for a 4th, he already knows who he is, the end. 10/10 in my book, this is one of the greatest trilogies ever made.

Fantastic conclusion not seen since Return of the King!
1 June 2007
First of all, I'm sure most of you have read the reviews from moronic unintelligent critics, stating that this was confusing, there was too much action, blah blah boo hoo. Well let me be the first to say that if you found this trilogy at all confusing, you need to take an IQ test and review your life, not to mention your lack of credibility for being a critic. This movie was absolutely fantastic, and like the second one, which I thought was the greatest action/adventure movie of all time, this delivers everything you could expect from a fitting end, and more. As much as I thought the second one was superior to part 1, I think this might have been as good as part 2, if not better. This is due largely to the fact that Barbossa was in this one and he was tremendous. Furthermore, to the people that think episode one was the best. It was great and fun, but they went miles above and beyond expectations when they created a deeper, darker storyline that turned this into an epic action/adventure trilogy. I saw At World's end at the 8 oclock showing and I was blown away. This may be have been the best trilogy ever made, with the exception of Lord of the Rings and the original Star Wars. Way to go POTC!!

A revolution in film making!
3 April 2007
First off, do not, I repeat, do NOT listen or read the comments by these stupid simple minded liberals. All they can do is bitch and moan about the historical inaccuracy, the fighting, the alleged political propaganda, and the lack of plot. Rest assured, these people are the dumbest people on the planet. I didn't see them complaining when Michael Moore's vomitous mess came out years ago. Anyways, this movie was probably the most brilliant movie ever made. Of course it was historically inaccurate but it was supposed to depict the main idea of what happened between Greece and Persia. The acting by the guy who played Leonidas and the one who went to tell the story afterward was in short, amazing. I can't say anything about the graphics, slow motion, and the music because I was absolutely stunned when I saw it for the first time, and have been stunned every time I've seen it since. The word "revolutionary" doesn't even begin to describe it. This is a must see for anybody who is a true fan of movies. I'm not saying this is the best movie ever made but I have never seen a movie like that. Don't listen to the stupid liberals who are destroying the world with their pathetic propaganda, go see this movie!

Incredible, perfect ending to the Saga
22 December 2006
As a huge Rocky fan who has seen all 5 movies at least 50 times, I came into this movie expecting the best. After 1 hour and 42 minutes, I got that and more. I truly believe this was Stallone's best performance of his career. In my mind, this movie was a modern version of Rocky 1. I didn't go into it expecting it to be about fighting, but more about Rocky's life, and his moving on in his life past boxing, and past the death of his wife. His speeches in this movie gave me goosebumps, and he once again showed that at 60, he can play Rocky as well as he did 30 years ago. Anyways, this movie had dialogue, supporting cast(including a good performance by Tarver), and the traditional Rocky music. The ONLY problem I had was that they didn't play Eye of the Tiger, but that's OK. This is a must see for everybody and I will be among the first to get the DVD when it comes out!

Amazing, simply amazing.
7 July 2006
Warning: Spoilers
I just came out of the midnight showing of this movie and I am in shock. It was quite possibly the greatest action movie I have ever seen. There was more action, and more humor in this one than in the first. Admiral James Norrington returns in this one much to my surprise, as do 2 of the guys from the Black Pearl from the first episode. This movie destroys the first one with its sheer brilliance, incredible acting, mesmerizing action scenes, and witty humor. After this movie I am convinced that Johnny Depp is the best actor alive. I recommend this for EVERYBODY and I cannot wait until the 3rd installment is made.. Incredible..
