Saint X (2023)
Watch The Whole Thing
I watched this because Alycia Debnam-Carey was in it. (Lexa From The 100)
I wanted to see her acting in other stuff. I have to say the acting was very good. If you didn't understand some of the acting you didn't get the location of the story! Resort people fake personalities too. That was the point.
But over all I like the slow unravel of the story. I really didn't see the ending coming and enjoyed the ending.
I think we are so caught up in action, drama, death, and that the ending has to be the same. It's bitter sweet and it was nice.
I cried watching this and in movies or shows if I'm crying the scene, movie or show is good. I have a stone face for this stuff. So if I'm moved it's moving!
Give this a chance and have an open mind. A lot of movies are great and they all don't need to be consider for Oscar's to be wonderful!
Don't Worry Darling (2022)
Wonderful Film Ending deflated it.
The acting/ performances in DWD were excellent. Florence Pugh &Chris Pine did a stellar job. Harry styles wowed me&can't wait to see him grow in more films. The movie kept me guessing the whole time. DWD gave me the creeps in a good way.
When Alice says "I'm not crazy I knw what I saw" it hit hit home. We all want the ppl we love to believe us when we tell them Things. I did wonder if Alice was crazy though. Frank said to Alice that proved somethings and I was like damn this is good!
Olivia Wild missed the mark on the ending of the film acting in it. She missed bringing the movie to a point.
Spencer (2021)
Falls Short
As someone who follows the royal family a lot I was not impressed with the Spencer movie. The fictional approach was interesting and that's why I gave it 5 stars. However, they played around with weird dreams, and illusion that weren't needed.
They missed the mark to highlight positive areas of her life as well as the sad ones. It's just a movie of a depiction of Diana's depression.
Diana was the princess of the people this film should have done better to honor her.
Kristin Stewart I love as an actress, but she misses the mark to deliver. It's just her being sad and whispering the whole movie, with a less than desired accent.
Friends: The Reunion (2021)
Missed Opportunities
I enjoyed the reunion as a whole. However, I wish there was more of an interview aspect of the show and more stories are being told. We didn't need the random actors showing up, and that took away from the reunion. I really wanted them to be sitting in Monica and Rachel's apartment reminiscing more and maybe have more of a dialogue of things that we didn't know. James Gordon was a bad choice. I think it would've been fun if Paul Rudd hosted. It felt rushed in the editing was poor. Overall I did enjoy it I just wanted more.
Bridgerton (2020)
Stop Thinking what it should be and have expectance
I am shocked and saddened to hear the other reviews, because it has "Africans in it." Art is subjective, and movies and TV and be created in anyway. If you can't get past the diversity I'm sorry but you are the problem of the rest of us not moving forward in society. This is the stuff Prince Harry and Megan Markle are trying to change. This show has great harmony, great acting, the Cinematography, and music selection very good. Costumes are exquisite as well. This piece really shows at the end of the day being diverse we still have gender issues in society, but it also shows that we can progress. I find this show charming makes you yearn for more and give at shot! Please give it a shot wiht out I'll judgement.
