Under the Pink Carpet (2000)
Clover Honey is ultra fabulous
I love Under the Pink Carpet! It is bravely realistic and yet funny and enjoyable. It shows the both the Glamour and the Dirt of LGBT life! The program is daring enough to have a Drag correspondent and that is one of its best qualities. Drag Queens have traditionally been the queers who go all out and dish the dirt and shine the glitter! Clover Honey is the Drag Correspondent Lady and is an enjoyable cast member. Clover Honey is fun and flirty. The only thing more vibrant then Clover Honey's personality is her vast wardrobe that goes from elegant-chic to 60s-retro-tawdry. Tony Sawicki is also so much fun and informative and asks the craziest questions. By watching the program, you get the feel of attending and experiencing the different events and parties the NYC scene has to offer - and you get to see all the interesting and colorful people at the parties.
