Aavesham (2024)
Strictly for FaFa Fanboys
First thing, do not expect anything close to Romancham. Aavesham has a weak plot and the heavy lifting has been done by Fafa and the background score. So if you ain't a person to watch movie purely for the heroism of FaFa, it is better to give this movie a miss or can watch in OTT.
The story revolves around the life of three Malayalee boys who have joined their college in Bengaluru. Staying at hostel they get beaten by their seniors during initial days and want to take revenge on them by befriending local gangsters. How they go about this is the story of the first half. Second half is a complete drag without much of a story line and too much of FaFa heroism.
Valimai (2022)
Easily the worst-ever Ajith film, beating Vivegam
After a series of disappointing movies from director Siruthai Siva, it looked like the worst was behind for actor Ajith Kumar. But this movie easily beats all his earlier movies to being the worst of the actor's career. Director Vinoth has completely let down the actor. Flawed logic, useless stunts and an average background score underlines the movie. First half was a bit of a drag at many places but the second half is the worst of all. Apart from Ajith fans, others can surely give this one a miss.

One Time Watch - Nothing Special Except The Star Cast and Music
Nothing great about this movie. AR Rahman does a good job with the background score. But the story is let down by weak visuals. All brothers are shown to be gangsters or kingpins in respective countries but no clear story line on what each of them does. Prakash Raj's history also missing although he is proclaimed to be an underworld don. Only guns and glory in this action flick which can be an one-time watch when compared to the miserable movies which Mani Ratnam has delivered in the last few years.
Vivegam (2017)
A disgrace to tamil cinema
Only hardcore ajith fans can enjoy this movie. For regular users this is not a movie to watch as there are many scenes where you may feel this movie is dragging and going in a pointless direction right from the start. Lot of loopholes in the script. Poor introduction scene for the actor without any logic whatsoever and the graphics effect does not live up to it's reputation. There appears to be no chemistry between the hero and heroine and in most scenes it looks like an affection between a brother and sister if not dad and daughter. Villain role in this movie does not appear very strong and he appears to be keeping on giving build up for hero which makes the villain just a dummy piece right from the start. Apart from quite a few scenes, this movie is a big let down and its a movie which the regular viewers (non-ajith fans) should give a miss.
Bairavaa (2017)
Save your money. Regular Vijay story.
Let me start by saying that I'm getting very much used to the same type of climax which is a common thing in Vijay movies now (Thupakki being an exception to some extent). There is not much role in the movie for heroine. Same old story, Hero mass entry, entry song, villain enters, romance, fight, again song, again fight and finally hero kills villain or transforms him. Nothing really much in the movie for anyone apart from hardcore Vijay fans. First half is a little better compared to the second half which becomes very predictable. Music is good at times but boring for most parts. All in all I would strongly advice anyone from wasting their money on this movie unless you are a die-hard Vijay fanatic. The fact that this movie is being replaced in many of the cinema screens across the city with movies like Dhruvangal Pathinaaru which had released earlier than this movie due to the demand of good stories among the Tamil audience.
