Ballers: There's No Place Like Home, Baby (2018)
What happened to episode 10 !
Was it just me or did everyone else expect the finale to be episode 10? Was advertised as well. I love this series but it def went off the boil this season.. hopefully season 5 gets it back on track
Sierra Burgess Is a Loser (2018)
Surprisingly good !
Was pleasantly surprised with this film. Kept my attention and had some good elements of humour in it also.
My Name Is Lenny (2017)
How can you get something so wrong.
I've read the books on McLean and was glad hear he would finally get one of his wishes, but I don't think the film does him justice at all. Lenny was a mountain of a man.. the guy who plays him looks about 10 stone! A real shame, awful acting .. director should be ashamed of this.
Vikings (2013)
A slow burner but well worth sticking with
I have read some of the reviews giving this series very poor ratings. Vikings depicts as an accurate account of life back in Viking era as you possibly could. I found the lead actors superb in the own roles as there vast different personailtys, but ultimately have the same views. I think the series definitely gets better from the middle of series 2 and is well worth sticking with. To give it a rating of 1 is crazy!
A good series to watch if you liked game of thrones but with a lot smaller budget.
American Gods (2017)
A bit to strange in parts but comes together.
Ricky whittle has come along way from staring in the English soap holly oaks. He plays a great lead role, although I did it find I think a bit strange at parts it is a watchable series. I do think however the first episode not really grabbing me in like game of thrones it could be a slow burner .
A Time to Kill (1996)
One of the best thrillers of all time.
This film is full of main screen actors, and features some very powerful roles based from the book. Samuel L Jackson is superb along with a very strong performance from Mathew McConaughey. The film keeps you guessing and is a definite must for anyone looking for a great thriller. One of my all time favourites.
