Poké-perfection
15 November 2019
The greatest thing to come from the Pokémon series (except maybe Pokémon Super Mystery dungeon, but I haven't beaten that one, so I can't say). PMD: EOS is a truly incredible experience that not only provides a ton of entertainment, but an awesome story (something that the main series often lacks).

This game is brilliant in every way.

JonTron (2010– )

This made me who I am today

JonTron is one of those rare special things. Something so beautiful and quotable that it becomes part of you. Jon Jafari is one of the greatest comedians of our time (if not the greatest). Words can NOT describe how much of an effect JonTron has had on my life. If there was a 100/10 option, that wouldn't be enough for me.

SMG4 (2011– )

An inspiring story of growth (and memes)
4 November 2019
I remember when I first saw SMG4 around 2012ish. I didn't like it. I was trying to find Mario "bloopers" (not to be confused with the Mario enemy of the same name). I hated the fact that it was mainly text based.

Jump forward like 2 years later and I decide to watch again. The quality had vastly improved, and the humor was hilarious and the meme sound effects and wacky stupid humor made me crack up. However, that was about it.

Jump to now and Luke and Kevin are making full storylines, collabs with big name youtubers, and even their own fully animated cg series (Meta Runner) and you have one of the most inspiring stories on Youtube.

The only problem I can think of is that you still have to read subtitles and that makes it nearly impossible to multitask while watching it. Otherwise it's one of my favorite series on the internet.

EXTREMELY underrated

A great independent animated series. Beautiful and intriguing. One of the most unique series I've ever watched. Please watch this series.

The setting and lore are very unique, and I love the art style.

Lisa (2014 Video Game)
10/10
Quite possibly one of the hardest games to play, but totally worth it.

The game is not only difficult in the traditional since (in fact, once you beat it once and know the order of things to do it becomes pretty easy on repeat playthroughs). However, the true difficulty comes from the moral and emotional weight of everything.

You make choices, and these choices do NOT affect the story except for hidden backstory if you do certain things, but each choice will affect the GAMEPLAY. Characters can die, you can lose limbs, you can take drugs that stop your withdrawals and give you strength, but you have a limited amount.

The ending is also haunting and depressing, yet hopeful and beautiful.

Nostalgia Critic (2007– )

Sometimes funny, but other times trying too hard.

I love his old videos, but his over reliance on skits (which are 90% of the time TERRIBLE), really bring the show down in quality. I love the commercial reviews though. They are 🔥🔥🔥. The recreation "reviews" are atrocious though, and miss the point of using clips from the movies, and allow for him to create strawman arguments.

Overall, Doug needs to get his act together and listen to people. Otherwise I don't see much of a future for him and the show.

Nostalgia Critic: The Wall (2019)

An embarrassment for everyone involved.

I'm sorry for everyone involved (except Doug). I especially feel bad for Fennah. The mockery he got for this was unwarranted. It wasn't his fault that his part made no since to outsiders. It was Doug's fault for not properly introducing him and his work.

Doug Walker fails to understand why people enjoyed his videos in the first place. He's not a movie maker, artist, musician, or even really a critic. He's good at making fun of movies. Stick to what you are/were good at Doug, and don't drag talented people down with you.
