Warning: Spoilers
The writers never quite got there. The only reason why this film was palatable in my opinion was the eye candy boyfriend who turned out to be some sort of "alien" or "monster" and the suspense that led to it but once we're shown that he's a different species and what his intentions are, nothing else is explained.. who is this guy really? Where did he come from really?!? And what is he? I wish the writers had explained..this would have been a good film otherwise.

Rough Night (2017)

Ouch..
14 July 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Movies like this are almost painful to watch and I'm wondering why any of the actresses agreed to do it in the first place.. None of the characters had chemistry and I wasn't convinced that any of them would have been friends in college or afterwards... And there were moments that had me thinking "okay maybe this is going somewhere" but I was disappointed each and every time..nothing was funny about this filmand I honestly mean nothing! And am I the only one who noticed how awkward the male gigilo seemed when he met them during their pathetic excuse for a party? The actor looked like he took on the role because he needed the money.. If you ask me.. He's the lucky one for getting killed off so early in the film.. And the whole threesome with Demi Moore and Zoe Kravitz was just shameful! If this film exemplifies the future of Demi Moore's career than maybe it's time to retire. To say this movie sucks isn't doing it justice, maybe if it been a horror movie or a suspence it could have had a chance.. But instead it's just another bad movie.. Maybe if anybody in the cast is lucky this film will be forgotten.. I'm ok with pretending I didn't see it

Dirty Girl (2010)
8/10
A fun and quirky film... perfect for the open minded
25 February 2012
I'm a cliché artsy girl form NYC and often i look forward to films like these.. you know the little indie gems that not many people have heard of.. Dirty Girl was like a treat for me and i can watch it again and again. It's not a perfect film and definitely not mainstream, but absolutely entertaining. Juno Temple couldn't have played this part any better as a young promiscuous teenage girl who seems confident and unafraid to conquer the world but is actually quite vulnerable and easily broken.. Clark was so lovable as the fat gay best friend and hopeless romantic, even with all their flaws , the chemistry between them was outstanding, and me and mom couldn't help but to laugh at the different emotions from the bag of flour and to adore the cool soundtrack (she's an 80's chick so it was inevitable)..

The journey was so fun to watch that i didn't want it to end, part of me had wished that Danielle and Clark could have ran away and started a new life together.. that would have been epic, but by the end of the film it was easy to admire the writers for thinking outside the box and reminding me why i love films like these so much ~

Why did I waste my money on this "Tyler Perry" disaster?
30 May 2010
Warning: Spoilers
First off I'd like to point out that I am extremely open minded when it comes to films, and I've been trying so hard to give Tyler Perry and his films a chance but this was just plain AWFUL!!!!!

From the moment the movie starts until the very end ... there are scenes that were obviously supposed to be funny but no one in the theater laughed and all the couples are just awkward or obnoxious and it's soooo ridiculous!!!!! All throughout the movie I just kept asking myself.. WHY?!?!?

Why would Angela be o.k with humiliating her husband every chance she gets? And the whole idea of causing so much trouble over having your husband's cell phone number password is just lame!!!!!! Why would Sheila and her husband even go on vacation knowing that they have such horrible money issues? Why would Patricia announce to everyone (even a couple they just met) that her and her husband are getting a divorce? And why did it take the writers so long to mention Dianne being unhappy in her marriage?? I mean it was obvious from the very beginning that she was hiding something... why drag it out???

Anyway I give the writers a little credit for trying to blend a good mix of Drama and Comedy but some things were just over kill.. especially that whole stunt with the gay guy coming out of the cake.. What the heck were they thinking?!? After finding out that Mike had cancer, and after seeing Gavin die after getting in a horrible car accident.. All I could do is *gasp* and not in a good way!!! The Icing on the cake for me was when they tried so hard to get people excited by introducing Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Patricia's new love interest... Wow as if I needed another reason to hate this film
