Doom Eternal (2020)
A GOTY potential game.
Doom eternal has a very huge upgrade compared to doom 2016, but this doesn't mean that the 2016 is bad.
With that being said, I'll start writing about the things I liked in doom eternal.
Firstly, the story of the game is fast paced, and there are codices hidden throughout the campaign that gives depth to the story, and I don't regret collecting them.
Secondly, the graphics in this game manages to deliver a beautiful image on lower settings, but on 4K (especially with HDR on) the game looks no less than amazing, and the performance is not much impacted."I'm not sure about the performance part since I use a capable PC"
Thirdly, the gameplay is fast and doesn't feel repetitive, and controlling the character feels smooth and very responsive, the variety of the equipment, weapons, and upgrades gives you a ton of options and techniques to kill demons, and if you want to kick it up a notch try beating the game on high difficulties.
Fourthly, the master levels are a great mechanic to change the gameplay of the campaign and to challenge you even more by spawning more demons in any location and tougher ones also.
there are only two things regarding of What I dislike of doom eternal.
Firstly, when there is a big fight the game locks the map till you kill all demons, which is good to force you to fight, but it only restrict you. Sometimes enemies stay outside of these boundaries and never get in,because they might fight you long range, also because of the "fighting each other" animation, which I don't think they damage each other, and you can't kill them because they're protected by these boundaries.
Secondly, there is only two levels in the master levels. I hope more will be added in the near future.
