Good Start, then fail miserably

The moment I started watching this movie , I thought to myself, its going to be a fun ride, but no, only after half and hour into it, it turns out to be silly and dumb.

The plot goes nowhere, it had few funny lines ,other dialogue falls flat . Someone compared the lead actor to bob hop which is completely ridiculous. Humour is forced and hence doesn't even make you chuckle. The final scenes were kind of hilarious but one lose interest by that time. The real bonney is completely useless and doesn't add anything to the story.

Killers (2010)

Not Bad, Shallow but damn entertaining

If you want to get entertained from this mindless flick then go for it . Direction is good, plot is decent, and dialogue is amusing. What bothered me the most was unnecessary use of CGI in driving scene, could have used a little more budget. Action scenes are worth watching, which are creative and slick. One death scene is simply amazing, I won't say which one.

So ignore the haters ,watch it!!

It has impressive star cast which got wasted on pointless story. All stars delivered their best, cinematography is wonderful, editing is almost flawless,but still the movie feels hollow and pointless. It takes too much time for build up,nothing much happens in first one hour ,even afterwards it just plods to nothingness. The drug deal scene was most stupid and unbelievable. The guy issues a nasty threat than acts all soft and friendly. The way woody character behaves doesn't make any sense, Why kill the guy when you have debt to recover, afterwards he barged into the bar and ask for money, kill the bartender who could have lead him to it. It's just me or everyone else, i never understood the SWAT team scene,another wasted attempt to create tension for no reason at all. I gave it five stars for camera work, acting and editing.

6 Underground (2019)

Kind of dumb,but cool entertaining action scenes

Yeah,plot is this,its mostly shallow ,but its damn entertaining. I like any movie which keep you engaged without a boring moment. Don't expect much just enjoy the cool action scenes. The opening car chase scene itself will get you hooked which would make you like the movie all the way through. Sometimes it appears to be disjointed but the quirky funny dialogues make up for it. It's one of those movies where you have to shut down your brain to enjoy mindless fun.

Dosti (1964)

Except for great songs , it's a lacklustre mess!!

I have been hearing songs of this movie ever since my childhood. This is the only reason why i decided to watch it. It's a very low budget dull melodrama which becomes a complete drag only after couple of minutes. Full of childish dramatic scenes coupled with pretty bad acting by almost everyone in this movie,it's hard to care for characters. Script is lazy,editing it choppy,it appears that only money producer spent was on few little outdoor shots. The scene at police station is so illogical ,it seems to have been written by a four year old child. It throws one melodramatic scene one after another with much logic. Such stories works good on stage not in a movie. It's like you are watching a stage drama where you get a new scene after the curtain is lifted. A completely boring childish silly mess. I gave it a rating of ten just because of the super hit songs which i can never cease to listen through all my remaining life.

Mechanic: Resurrection (2016)

Watchable despite it's flaws

It's may be shallow on contents,but it's oddly satisfying watch. The fight scenes are Jason's trademark as always. The fight in the very beginning will make you believe that's it's not going to waste your time. Give it a try, it's mindless fun.

Do not fall for the rating, the movie is not only silly characters speaks so fast you cant even understand even with subtitles. its like blalalalallallalalalaaajdjsdklfasfasfjasdjfasjf in 10 seconds. entire line of dialog just get finished in only a second, everything happens too fast. senseless

Is it even a movie. Its a mess with big names and lazy script. its a good watch if you are suffering with insomnia. I kept waiting for any single bright moment, it never came. It appears writer threw logic in the trash can. The girl get fired over a minor incident. Same girl find comfort in company of travelling salesman in like 2 seconds top. She again finds comfort in a married old man. list is endless RIP logic.

Wow what a movie, i don't understand why it has got such a low rating. The story is good enough to keep you engaged and chuckling. This movie is quite funny and interesting. Diane acted superbly as always. Queen latifa was marvelous along with the supporting cast.

I would say that this movie does't let you getting bored, its pretty much watchable. its a usual thriller full of cliches,but it has its redeeming points. The last seen on camera is priceless.

I used to believe that most Oscar winning dramas are overlong, dull and boring. This movie proved me wrong. I could not find a single dull moment in the entire duration of more than two hours. It has everything a movie goer wants, actions,emotions,suspense drama. All the scenes are meshed in perfectly flawless manner. This is the kind of movie you cant forget for the time to come.

I agree its not a extraordinary. From my point of view any movie which keeps your attention the whole duration is worth watching. It has decent story, wonderful acting from all the cast. The shooting in the end was too much,unrealistic and not needed,that's the weak point. Another weak plot device is coincidental meeting of cars. Kevin just saw jesse and mother driving. Casino. overall gun shooting is overly done and pretty unrealistic even in the beginning where casino robbery took place. despite the flaws it keeps you entertained,at the edge of your seat. I must say you never have a dull moment while watching. on the same line emotions are minimal,and everything is to the point. No beating around the bush,makes a tout script. Funny hilarious dialogs are will keep you chuckling .

Well first of all middle finger for haters. Its not actually about hacking, so what its a damn good entertainment. It keeps you interested till the end, never miss a beat . This movies will be one of "must watch" in the future. The problem with these critics, is that they always look for Oscar material. The movie with compassion ,humanity, blah blah blah, which is most likely a boring over long box office turkey. Whats wrong with entertainment, that's what movies are for. Watch this movie, you will definitely like it.

I was wondering if this even be called a full featured commercial movie. I got my answer when i explored it on IMDB. There was nothing to explore. I came to know that this is actually a direct to video movie with a very limited ,almost non existent theatrical release(Yawn!!). Actually limited release after the video release(i could not stop laughing!!) No wonder you can imagine how bad this movie is. Even the makers knew its crap so it went direct to video. I am confused about the genre of this alleged movie, you can call it anything you like. Its certainly not a thriller/mystery. This movie is more like a film school test movie. Even more surprising is that its based on a novel,which its certainly not. Looks like script writer just read the first few pages and filled the rest on its own. Its an insult to the novel writer. He should file a lawsuit for mentioning his name in the credits. Biggest problem of this movie is non existent plot. To find the killer all you have to do is ask around and foolishly follow the lead. Never mind if you are dealing with dangerous drug dealers. What's the point, just go around and ask the guy,

" yo dude i am looking for the guy who killed my friend would you be kind enough to tell me who it is. I promise i won't tell anyone that you told me."

Also the sissy guy took her girlfriend to drug dealers place who passed obscene remarks to her girl, but hey we are cool, never mind. Did i mentioned the best part of the movie, our hero use obsolete tech gadgets. A "pager", are you kidding me, who the hell use a pager. For once i thought movie is set in nineties, until her girlfriend pulled out an Iphone. The guy used to be rich so looks like he was cutting costs.

Its a big pile of crap, and lastly i would appreciate if someone could even tell me how the title is even remotely related.

Kill Zone (2005)

I was surprised to see such a praise to this awful movie here at IMDb, so watched this on Netflix. This movie has a very convoluted plot with non-sensible fight scenes in between.The portrayal of police and their handling of the case is childish. When the plot has nothing to offer fight scenes are thrown in without much sense. One of the suspects ran from the police with four guys chasing, even several blows from steel rod could not hurt the suspect. Kicks and punches are fast but look absurd as kids fighting. Avoid wasting your time.

Airport (1970)

Kind of outdated but thoroughly enjoyable

So it was the start of 70's where special effect guys were still struggling to give out the best.This one is quite enjoyable although special effects were sought of cheesy.It lacks the glamor of big budget with mediocre sound track.Star cast was promising which delivers as expected.Sometimes dialogs feels like you are watching a 50's movie only in color which i suppose due to the fact that book came in 1958. The old stowed away lady provided the much needed comic relief.Only thing that got me was the post marital relationship was taken as too casual.In the end everyone gets along with the ladies and not with their spouses. Go watch this flick you will never get bored.

Duplex (2003)

Not great but thoroughly enjoyable

So viewers are complaining about it being dull and lacking in decent plot.In my opinion plot was good enough which keeps your attention from start to finish.I agree there were not many laughs in this flick but comedy is sprinkled here and there.The old lady is the most evil old hag i have ever seen in a movie.Part of the dullness is due to poor performance from both the lead stars.As far as acting goes the old lady steals the show.Few of the scenes were disgusting and plain awful.The laptop scene was actually hilarious to which most people are complaining about. Writer took liberty with the common sense displayed by the couple,but its quite plausible.Some people just can't say no,and end up being awfully nice most of the time.Entire plot is driven by this very same characteristic of the lead stars. I must say be nice and do not say no to this movie,its quite enjoyable.

Monsters University (2013)

Too childish for grown ups but engaging and entertaining.

The first one hour of the movie is full of cliché and seems very childish.When i saw the twist,it became interesting and i started to like it.This movie is full of cliché and forced humor but doesn't make it dull to the end.Mike's intellect impressed me when they scare police in the room.Mikes teammates provide most of the humor and punches,which i liked very much.One thing which may be embarrassing to even grown ups when grand pa get engaged and he babbles some dialogs about brother/husband. Most strong point of the movie is its story line which amazingly keeps the flow of movie impressively.Best thing about the Hollywood writers these days are that they squeeze lot of content in less duration say 1:30 or 1:40. so the verdict is ,some parts may sound silly but overall its a lite entertainment which can be enjoyed by everyone.

Fast Five (2011)

A fun 'RIDE'

I had always loves the series and enjoyed all of them.This one ships with usual cliché and storyline.The chases are hair raising,dialogs are solid,and there are plenty of funny lines.All of this makes fast five a must watch although suspension of belief if always there in Hollywood entertainment movies.This film follows a tight script with lots of twists and turns although all of them may not surprise you.Plot is really convincing and carried forward by amazing cinematography and editing.Director cleverly choose between amazing camera angles,which editor had turned into a edge of the seat scenes. This film never misses the beat even when there are short emotional moments in the movie.

Brave (2012)

Just a mediocre movie

First of plot was not much to support an hour and half of the duration. I was expecting it to have lot of funny lines and scenes,but i was disappointed to see that there are just animation cliché.Whole movie was intended to be grand and fabulous but a thin plot prevented it to be so. I used to play brave game on my android and was amazed to see the similarities when the evil bear chases the princess. Overall i gave it a five because it seems fabulous but ridden with Disney cliché. I didn't laugh at the intended fun part where the queen try to get into tapestry bear pretending to be a dummy bear.Also i didn't get the scene at the end of the credits.Soundtrack and animation was above par,i really liked it.

The Postman Always Rings Twice (1981)

This movie is an insult to Cain's famous novel.Despite being based on the novel it does not seems to have any real plot.All you get to see is hot steamy sex scenes,which producers thought were enough to draw in the audience. Even without comparing to the original classic this movie is waste of time.It starts out great but after half an hour later it wonders around aimlessly. What annoys me the most that things happen almost spontaneously without much explanation,while in the novel the attraction between the two leads is clearly elaborated.Here just 20 minutes into the movie and both of them jumps on the kitchen table ,makes passionate love as if they knew each other for eternity. The worst thing is ending,which left things unexplained.In the original classic the ending was so beautifully explained,making sense of the title.Whats the use of watching the movie if you have to ask ,what the title means. If you want to see couple of hot passionate scenes this movie if for you otherwise avoid it like plague.

It might be considered as masterpiece by others but i watch movies for entertainment which it failed to deliver.cinematography was excellent. Acting performance by all the actors was good. wrestling match was boring and unwatchable

Worst thing in this movie was script it goes like

-wait i have no money i can't love anyone -wait i have no money for my dream,i am a looser -wait i have got enemies -wait i will do this and then that and then that PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED

ALL OF THIS HAPPENING IN A JIFFY!!

Completely boring and tedious to sit through.

its the worst Hollywood movie i have ever seen.even TV serials are better than this.total waste of time and money. it hardly have any plot all the artists look dumb and foolish.each and every scene is like somebody is out for a practice shoot.in one scene Dona was sitting like she is not in the frame any more and the man with Dona 'ko' was caught in the gun fight at the same moment. the explosion's are like cardboard cutouts. most of the people in the movie looks like they are just completing the formalities.i found nothing interesting in this movie.even the sex scenes looks cheap and the timing don't make any sense. the villain Kane escape unhurt ed pretty conveniently.
