Go In With The Right Concept, And You Will Not Be Disappointed!!!
19 January 2008
I went to see this movie yesterday and I have to say, it was pretty solid. Not too over the edge, but just enough to keep you interested. This is the type of movie you may watch once or twice and never want to watch it again. But I mean that in a good way.Even though the movie starts slow, it ends good. Really before I get into the comment, to everyone who says it has a lot of unanswered questions, you didn't understand the movie. The movie is from the point of view of a group of people who were affected. They didn't know what happened. They couldn't get an answer on what it was so why would you know? Thats why I say go in with a first person's view of the movie and you will like it. I must say I wont give nothing away. The monster looks OK, not cheesy or great. The story is entertaining. The actors do a great job. And despite what people say, the ending is quite good(To those who have seen it, what did you expect?).

P.S.-As a side note, I read that they are talking about doing a sequel to this movie. Not another monster, but from the same attack from a different group of people's perspective. Which i think is interesting.

Saw II (2005)

Saw 2 good, not great
30 October 2005
Saw 2 is a great thriller. Not exactly as scary as the first, it will keep you on the edge of your seat. I went into this movie so excited that when the opening came, i was smiling from ear to ear. The first 5 mins had people cringing in their seats. And as a huge fan of the first Saw, i was loving it. As the movie went on, the concept and thought put into this is great, but along the way the movie takes a turn that it didn't need to take. The kill scenes are great, but none of the games are as good as the ones in the first movie. The ending is good, but not really a shocker like everyone insists. But it opens it up for numerous more Saw films. I think that they should bring one out every year a'la "Harry Potter" and "The Lord of the Rings" because the have a great franchise on their hands.

Overallm, the movie is good, not as good as the first. But it is still very, very, entertaining.

P.S.-The killings are kinda edited out which means if you want to see most of the blood, you would need to get the unrated DVD when it comes out, kinda like Land of the Dead
