Better Call Saul: Nippy (2022)
Pure art
They did it, crafted perfection. This episode had no previous episode to help carry it and yet it still managed to create high tension, all while Gene clears his name from Jeff, and pulls off one last scheme. It was like a movie.
Better Call Saul: Plan and Execution (2022)
I am not crazy!
Another elite episode has arrived. No other show has payoffs like this, intertwining storylines coming together with massive buildups all while relating it with the all the other seasons. Vravo Bince.
Better Call Saul: Black and Blue (2022)
The return!
The menacing character we all know and love that steals every scene he is in has returned. Yes, that 4 letter name that starts with a L. Its been too long but LYLE is back baby. What a guy.
Better Call Saul: Rock and Hard Place (2022)
Rock and Hard Place
When youre in, urine. I was really thrown off, my denial kept me thinking there was something more to the plan, but there was never a way...
You went out like a boss nacho, R. I. P.
Rick and Morty: Childrick of Mort (2020)
Good episode on its own
If this was in season 1 it would be liked a lot more because it's getting all the same. I feel as if I've seen this episode already, it's good, but I'm not as engaged in it anymore. Might be my final season that I watch.
American Animals (2018)
definition of underrated
Watch this if you ever get the chance, brilliant heist movie. Heist movies are difficult to nail and this did just that. The realism, editing, music, and documentary technique really makes the anxiety go through the roof. I was on the edge of my seat with this flick. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
Locke (2013)
This is why the script is the most important part of a movie
There was no complex score/soundtrack, there was no cgi, only one on screen actor, and there was only one location, but it hooked me.
Brilliant writing in this picture because I felt claustrophobic in the car as Ivan was trying to control several important aspects of his life when in reality he had very little control over anything but the car he was stuck in. And I loved it being shot in real time.
My only complaint is I really wanted to see a hospital sign at the end, or something indicating he made it.
Snowpiercer (2013)
One of the best scenes of all time
The movie is good but I want to focus on a particular scene.
The battle scene has so much, it has momentum swings, amazing cinematography and choreography, life or death decisions by main characters, comedy, sadness, and edge-of-your-seat action. The writers are masters of their craft. One of my all time favorite movie scenes no doubt.
Better Call Saul: Something Unforgivable (2020)
"Something unforgivable" is unforgettable
I now think Lalo is one of the best villians of all time, everything we got from him this season is just him doing his job, season 5 was nothing for him. Season 6 is when he is unleashed and pure vengeance is upon us. Nacho is not in a good position now.
Kim has simply broken bad and saul sees this. The writing during this scene was incredible.
This episode did a great job of both giving us a great finale and getting us excited for the next season. Season 5 will go down as one of the best seasons of any tv show.
Better Call Saul: Bad Choice Road (2020)
Here we go again with this show
I thought this episode would take its foot off the gas after last episode but I find myself with sweaty palms and an unhealthy heart rate writing this. Absolute masterclass work again! The only thing I don't like is knowing there is only one episode left this season.
Better Call Saul: Bagman (2020)
"Boring"
Some say this show is boring. These people are boring
In Bruges (2008)
In my top 50
This is a rare movie. Totally different from ordinary movies. The style and blend of comedy and thriller is very hard to nail and it did just that. At the beginning of the movie when they are sightseeing you may think its a little slow pointless but as the story goes along everything they did came back and affected the story, which I thought was brilliant. The screenplay overall was outstanding.
I thought the score was weak at first but now I hear it in my head still and think of the atmosphere the movie, an almost eerie sound which fit well.
The character development was impeccable, I really feel as if I know them and the exchanges back and forth were hysterical.
Finally one of the best movie moments ever: "He was about to do your job for you by killing himself and you stopped him?!"
Better Call Saul: The Guy for This (2020)
keeps getting better
This season is really interesting and this episode is putting things in place for future events. The writing is second to none.
The Fanatic (2019)
A fun time
You will laugh, you will cringe, you will question life. Does this sound like a good time? Well it is! It's so bad it's good and honestly I had a better time watching this than the new star wars movie.
Breaking Bad: Ozymandias (2013)
Folks, this is what perfection looks like.
The perfect climax to the perfect show. Breaking Bads climatic episode (Ozymandias) is the magnum opus of television, and nothing will come close. Is an 11/10 rating possible?
A Ghost Story (2017)
Unforgettable
This movie explored ideas that really hit me, I think it's the closest a movie has gotten to make me cry. The story was simply incredible. All of this just from a bed sheet makes it even more impressive. People will hate this movie, they will say it's boring but if you buy into it, and realize it's not a horror movie, you may find it impecable.
Uncut Gems (2019)
Take a xanax before
The anxiety levels are off the charts. Safdie brothers put together this movie in the perfect way to get you on the edge of your seat. Simply a wild ride.
Roma (2018)
No way this is a 1/10
Dont even read any 1 star reviews, they either don't know film or have short attention spans, theres no way this movie is that bad. This movie is not for everybody but it's undeniably a work of art. It's not a three act story, so don't expect that. Pay attention to the visual storytelling and impressive directing and you will enjoy it.
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
Disney is on the dark side
They ruined it, don't watch it. This trilogy is nothing but a unplanned cash grab that is a slap in the face to fans.
The Boys: Good for the Soul (2019)
This aint it
Im not mad, Im just disappointed. The bashing an entire religion just didnt fit at all and was so unnessesary. Lets leave our opinions, religions, and politics out of art please. Especially when its a show about superheroes. The festival part seemed like a completely different show. Im not sure If Ill keep watching.
Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019)
The Mad Queen!
Wow! What an episode! Season 8's first four episodes were sub par to say the least, but this episode has made me forget all about it. I loved Dany breaking bad. I cant believe she killed 10s of thousands of people after the ringing of the bell! And the long shot of Arya as Drogon is raining hell fire was eye candy.
The Clegane bowl did not disappoint. Yes, they both died, but lets be real... my boy Sandor won.
The King slayer kills one more king and dies with another. Those were two great villians, and with seeing what Dany was doing to KL, I kinda felt a little something for Cersei. This episode might honestly be my new favorite.
Chernobyl: 1:23:45 (2019)
Good show
50,000 people used to live here... Now it's a ghost town
Game of Thrones: The Last of the Starks (2019)
Cant be saved
The director and writers for this episode shouldve been fired after this mess.
Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
A new superhero has arrived
Hmmmm. I hate to give this a 5 because it was amazing with only a few things that didnt make sense until arya stark the superhero comes flying in out of nowhere, gets past all the dead, and kills the night king. This ruined the immersion of the episode.
Barry: ronny/lily (2019)
what did I watch?
Funny, random, crazy. this left me speechless. it is an incredible episode that made me laugh all the way through. In my opinion it is the Ozymandias of this show.
