Murder, She Wrote: Unfinished Business (1986)
What???
This is the worst episode so far. The motive doesn't make sense, the crime doesn't make sense, and the scenario doesn't make sense. Sad, because the cast is star-studded and amazing.
Murder, She Wrote: If the Frame Fits (1986)
Innovative!
This is was a fun episode with a variety of interesting characters, multiple crimes, and several viable suspects. It was fun trying to figure it out before JB Fletcher had her epiphany!
Murder, She Wrote: Keep the Home Fries Burning (1986)
Figured it out but happy with the story
I love how the clues were leaked out bit by bit in this episode, with just enough transparency that I got to figure it out without feeling totally spoon-fed.
Murder, She Wrote: Trial by Error (1986)
Did not see that coming!
I figured something was up with the character who was the actual villain, but I did not figure out the real crime sequence until the very end. Nicely done!
Murder, She Wrote: Murder by Appointment Only (1986)
Not my favorite
Definitely not one of the best episodes, in my opinion. The character who committed the crime just didn't seem to have the personality to fit it, and the victim was pretty bland as well. The most redeeming factor of this episode was the flamboyancy of the Lila Lee character.
Murder, She Wrote: Murder Digs Deep (1985)
Informational
I enjoyed the lessons in archaeology and heritage, and the episode kept me guessing longer than usual. Jessica's friendship with Seth is always a fun one.
Murder, She Wrote: Sticks and Stones (1985)
Another good plot
I always love the episodes set in Cabot Cove. This one had some good plot twists and red herrings, and it's nice to be rid of the real estate scheister.
