Save Our Squad (2022)
Nice short reality docuseries
Save Our Squad is a nice easy watch that shows the game of football and behind the scenes in East London. Iconic David Beckham goes back to where it all began for him as a boy to inspire others who may one day follow his footsteps as player representing their country and making a success out of football.
I enjoyed this show, and the four episodes I felt could of been a few more episodes long with a little more depth into their family backgrounds. It was refreshing to watch on Disney Plus and a nice mini surprise package to find.
Inspiring, motivational and shows how to build as a team when things are tough. A good reminder of how to tackle football and in life.
Keep Breathing (2022)
Keep Remembering
The title should of been called "Keep Remembering" not "Keep Breathing". Got fed up with all the flashbacks, when I just wanted to see her survive in the wilderness. Could of been better with a longer ratio of the wilderness rather than her memories.
Resident Evil (2022)
Started off well
I couldn't understand the low rating at first. Series was good for the first few. I enjoyed the first few episodes with the flashbacks and insights into the characters past.
Episode 5 and 6 was average. Episodes 7 and 8 was terrible. Felt rushed the ending and nothing make logical sense. The ending made you question every action they did, and it felt like a cheap B grade sci-fi movie. It could have been so much more. But I do understand why it got such a low rating now.
La nuit a dévoré le monde (2018)
Unique and realistic in most parts
A unique story of someone's struggles. Felt his movements and actions were realistic for the most part. Enjoyed it and on edge of my seat with the suspense of his journey.
Jimmy Carr: His Dark Material (2021)
Funny and contemporary
Nice to have more comedy on Netflix as we all need a laugh. Some contemporary jokes on the previous two years subjects like covid, vaccine, black lives matter, veganism. Brings up some good points on todays society with his dark humour. Carr has some jokes from previous shows but still hilarious nevertheless.
The new camera angle is a little annoying panning around him unnecessarily. Would have preferred to see the audience more when talking to them.
Mulan (2020)
A nice enjoyable movie
I enjoyed this movie and didn't understand why it got low ratings. Perhaps people expected it exactly like the cartoon. A nice story and a nice character for women and children to look up to. Ignore the other reviews and just decide for yourself.
Ultimate Beastmaster: The Beast Within (2017)
Contest was good but hosts were meh
Season 2 hosts for US are dull and bring down the rating for this show. Set up and contestants were cool. Season 1 hosts were better. Missing korea and US hosts who were entertaining
Crazy Delicious (2020)
Entertaining and unique. Great host!
The host was hilarious. The show was entertaining but I would have liked to have seen the setting/magical forest integrated into the show, where they found ingredients and mystical challenges. Would watch season 2
The Bad Education Movie (2015)
The Bad Movie
I was expecting good things from this movie as I'm a bit fan of Jack Whitehall. This was disappointing by the atrocious acting. I would have preferred it more if he was a student rather than teacher.
They should of added more depth with some of the other characters and a back story.
Best to watch this movie with low expectations. Not the worst movie I've seen and I wouldn't recommend it unless there is nothing else to watch. Better to watch is travel shows or stand up.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018)
Fantastic Beast brings the fantasy world best.
A really nice movie with a quite sophisticated plot. It takes you into the magic world of Hogwarts, London and Paris. If you haven't watched Harry Potter or the first Fantastic Beast movie, you might find this difficult to understand. Eddie Redmayne puts in another solid performance. A recommended watch.
Man Down (2013)
Oddly contagious
Quirky, a little out there, and weird characters that grow on you. A nice change of comedy where you can't predict the episode or action or dialogue.
Sound track and music is pretty cool
