The Black Phone (2021)
Finn's arm is mint.
The film starts with Finney a 13-year-old boy who lives with his younger sister and a father. Five boys have been kidnapped and killed by a kidnapper named "The Grabber" every time he takes a victim he leaves a black balloon behind. The black phone plays a huge part in the film almost a significant. The film doesn't go into depth about why the kidnapper does what he commits.
Each of the victims has their last word to the man who kidnaps them and did unspeakable things.
In my opinion, the film is not necessarily terrifying but almost a supernatural type element, it's simple, however, it will have you on the edge of your seat.
This film has got to be my favorite horror/thriller of 2022. Has a person that loves backstory when it comes to horror films, it doesn't give that, but it does have something else, satisfaction.
Dragonball Evolution (2009)
I liked it
I really don't know why this movie got so much hate, the characters were lovable, the acting was great and the fighting scenes was enjoyable. Maybe it's because I'm easily pleased when it comes to films, overall it was, interesting and really entertaining to watch. I think if the film was made to win the hearts of the viewers they would've went above and beyond with the affects and all.
Without Remorse (2021)
Without the right motivation
The film itself, the characters and the plot was heading into a good direction until we was told what the agenda was. The agenda was weak, it got of to the right start but it lacked the "oomph" some of the scenes like when John got in the car was good but not good enough it didn't make the film any better. I thought the plot was weak and the reason they wanted a war was mildly amusing and it seems like child's play. In my opinion it could have been a two hours film where it goes more in depth about the character, the agenda and the friends and foes.
They should've hit me up when they wanted to make this film, would've given them some good good ideas, like add some suspense, make the watchers ask questions that would raise eyebrows not only "why kill his team and his wife and tried to kill him" but ask "was killing his team and wife necessary"
The Cleansing Hour (2019)
"Public Perception"
The cleansing hour is a very straightforward film, filled with horror, gruesome scene, and moments where you will laugh out loud. If you are considering watching this film you will need to leave room for interpretation . There are scenes where you will possess questions of your own but trust me it is worth the watch this film is no doubt horrific but that's why it called "The cleansing hour"
Wrong Turn (2021)
"Wrong Turn" more like "In The Woods"
The first 50 minutes of the film was like child's play, your attention gets diverted every few minutes, then your imagination starts running wild on what's transpiring you start trying to come up with your own verdict but don't do that if you are considering watching this film just go with the flow and the movie will reveal itself and don't leave room for interpretation.
The ending is unexpected but you need to watch it to know!
