Elizabeth Stanton's Great Big World: Hollywood Legends (2014)
Never a dull moment
Love these shows and this one was no exception. I have always wanted to do this kind of trip and haven't quite made it. So this was a thrill to be the arm chair tourist. These three travelers make you the viewer a ride along and I loved the bit of history of the early years that don't often get mentioned. Now I want to go more than ever. I have worked in the Television business in Florida doing a variety of things with my USF Mass Comm Degree taught by folks working in the various media. We were the first class. Show biz Production is the bomb for a kid who loved TV, Film old and new,Broadway, Music, Art etc. Why your trip was so great to view. Kudos to all involved. Well Done.
Where the Lilies Bloom (1974)
Harry Dean Stanton
Such a memorable film and one in which I first took notice of actor Harry Dean Stanton. His character was pivotal in the story and Harry gave such a nuanced performance. Harry had been in westerns a good bit of his early career starting in the 1950s and this was such a big part in a small picture. All the principals seemed so real and Harry was the string that tied it together.
