Occupation (2018)
Steaming pile of alien doo doo
Why Luke Sparke continues to make movies is truly beyond me. This has all the hallmarks of a high school project. Temura Morrison, what were you thinking?! Did you lose a bet or did you owe someone money?!
The acting is terrible, the direction is terrible, the music score is terrible. I should have know better to be honest. I once sat through Red Billabong, another one of Luke Sparkes steaming turds, but I gave it a chance and its time I'll never get back.
You have been warned.
Pennyworth (2019)
Brilliant all round
All the boxes are ticked here with great scripts, acting, direction, sets and casting.
I love the darker tone to the Pennyworth stories and making them more adult orientated works well. We've had enough Flash, Batman etc. this type or story telling sets a new standard and sets the bar higher. Its not for everyone and that's OK.
It is definitely for me.
Red Billabong (2016)
It really is that bad
Absolutely dumbfounded as to how this is getting anything higher than 3 - 3.5 stars
As one of the previous reviewers suggested, it does look like it was made by Uni students during their lunch break. There are a number of painful scenes where the actors really are unsure of what they're supposed to be doing or how they should be acting.
Also, with regards to CGI, if you don't have the budget to do it well, don't do it at all. It was laughable. We didn't really need to see as much as we did, it would have been better leaving more to the imagination.
Wooden acting at best with lackluster direction. The idea and potential could have been great with thorough execution but this just left us all feeling like we wanted 2 hours of our lives back.
The dog was great.
Funny thing with some of the other 10/10 reviews.... check the profiles, one gold coast actor (supporting his friends in the industry) the others all created recently and only reviewing this film ... I smell a rat! ;-)

djo_34, Reviews and the content therein are subjective. If a reviewer wishes to express their opinion then who are we to say no?
No one is giving you advice to heed, they're simply expressing an opinion.
Nobody is perfect. Your attempts to chastise are unnecessary. I've read some of your reviews and they're not bad. Please keep reviewing and making this an enjoyable experience rather than trolling waiting for others to make a mistake.
Make sure you follow your own words of wisdom before berating others, your punctuation could use some work as well.

Hooligans (2004)
Seriously below par ..
This film really misses the mark on most fronts. The accents are laughably weak, the acting amateurish and the comedy weak at best.
They've got a great idea, it could have been particularly enjoyable but for the reasons mentioned above.
The writer seems to think by putting the word f*ck into every sentence it'll make it funnier and the main character just seems to try a little too hard. He's no Brick top thats for sure.
Next time at least get a cast that can keep the accent for the whole film.
It's a crime to compare this to films like The Business, Lock Stock and Snatch.
Venice Underground (2005)
Arrgghhh
Somebody owes me 1 hour and 32 min's of my life back. This film is beyond terrible. If it'd been terrible I'd have suffered through it happily.
The storyline, the plot, the characters .. nothing works. If you're going to make a film like this at least try to make it mildly realistic. Unless of course all cops in Venice are young and sexy and drive Ferrari's What a load of old rubbish. Save you money and buy yourself a beer instead.
The acting is weak and Edward Furlong should be severely reprimanded. He's had enough acting experience to know how to act by now surely ?!
