Landscapers (2021)
Daring theartrickality
Fun. Pleasant brilliance. O'Flynn! Theartrickal!
"your review too short"
Therefore: notice sometimes sparse dialog: so work can offer occasions for contemplation of its artfulness: watch that too.
The Green Knight (2021)
Utterly ignorant
Fake ideas, worthless thoughts. The Gawain as characterized and performed a weak, cowardly fellow -- no doubt as intended, who doesn't achieve peripetia: self- discovery. Like all male humans? Desperate effort to at least suggest profundity -- and a failure. Not worth 150 characters. Is that 150?
The Awakening (2011)
Rebecca Hall eminently watchable, plus...
Besotted. And Dominic West quite fit. Still puzzling about the denouement. WW I dead, impact on society's psyche, difficulty of grief, the importance of human touch and attention, the futility of fearful denial of trauma, the danger of gradual, involuntary self- destruction. Is that 150 characters?
Serebryanye konki (2020)

Ophelia (2018)
Insightful. Handsome. Creative. Moving.
Makes a story of Shakespeare's Ophelia that's Shakespearean. Vey well done. Thank you to all..
Piccadilly Jim (2004)
Ferociously bad
Attempted seven times to watch. Failed. Worsened each time. Poor my darling Frances O'Connor! Rockwell plays only psychopaths. Was Wodehouse every funny?.
