Wolf Creek (2005)

Not what i thought it was.

This movie is pretty lackluster in the beginning, just a lot of partying, and drinking then saying goodbye, then driving, thats half of the movie plot. Not very exciting until the very end and even that was distasteful and not very enjoyable to watch. You should probably just watch something else.

Bad Candy (2020)

Pretty good Anthology

I am actually impressed with this movie because i thought it would be really bad. This movie was actually really good and the cinematography was spot on. The stories were ok, and some of them were better than others, but none of them were bad. Definitely recommend if you love Halloween or are a true anthology fan.

Funny Horror

This movie was on the backburner for me as i thought that i wouldn't really like it, but i was wrong. My wife and i were just laughing at certain parts and it was quite entertaining. Not much gruesome horror, but still a movie to watch if you are into horror. Thumbs up from me.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954)

Great underwater scenes

This movie was Something iv'e been meaning to watch but finally did.20;000 Leagues didn't disappoint and the cinemaphotography was great. I really liked the underwater and ship scenes as well as the detail taken to build the nautilus. The acting was ok and the story was amusing.6 out of 10.

Death on the Nile (1978)

Keeps you guessing

This movie was a great murder mystery and the scenery was stunning. I really enjoyed how fun it was trying to guess and solve the murder. I wish the first half of the movie was a little shorter and more to the point but i guess some of the clues and backstory were important to solving the case.6 out of 10.

Identity (2003)

Wow Just Wow...

This movie was pretty awesome and unique. The acting was awesome and the plot is very different from other movies. I really liked the motel setting and the cast was all recognizable actors. Very solid movie you should watch.7 out of 10.

This movie was very deceiving, but in a good way. I loved the plot twist and the acting was great. The writers did alot with just a hand full of actors and a house. Definitely a movie worth watching especially for the holidays.6 out of 10.

King Kong vs. Godzilla (1963)

One of the original rivalries

This movie was entertaining and really fun to watch. I didn't grow up on godzilla but after watching the newer movies i decided to give the older movies a try. This movie was the ultimate showdown between Godzilla and King Kong and gives me some back story on the two. These monsters didn't disappoint and overall just plain fun to watch even in 2021. Really recommend watching at least for the fight towards the end.6 out of 10.

The Mummy's Hand (1940)

Beware the mummy's curse

I really liked the Egyptian setting and the acting wasn't bad either. They didn't waste much time getting to the point of the movie and was really well done. The mummy looked creepy as hell and wished there was more of him. Overall, not a bad movie, a worth the watch.

Bride of Frankenstein (1935)

Need more bride

I really enjoyed the plot and that the monster learned to speak as well as the comedy that was put into this installment of the series. I loved that the monster learns life lessons about consequence and that he actually has a moral compass. The acting was on point and I enjoyed the film but wasn't crazy about waiting so long for the bride and then finding out that she is in the movie for less than five minutes.

When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth (1970)

Did I really just watch this?

Yes i watched the whole movie and for what it was worth not terrible. The acting was kinda hard to judge because they don't speak English but a made up language that by the end of the film you will be tired of hearing. The dinosaurs left a little to be desired but were tolerable. The plot was ok but the women were beautiful. I have never thought of a world where cavemen and cavewomen all looked like supermodels. You probably shouldn't watch this unless you really have nothing else to watch.

The Protégé (2021)

Pretty good action movie.

This movie was a good movie to relax and just watch without thinking too much. Starts off kinda slow, but towards the end picks up the pace and has awesome fight scenes. I wish Sam Jackson played a bigger role, but the small part he played was really good. Overall worth a watch 6 out of 10.

Tales of Terror (1962)

Three great stories

I really enjoyed this anthology and preferred the second story over the other two. I am a huge fan of Vincent Price and was glad that he actually plays in every story in the film. Since Price was in it you already know that the acting was great even though the stories could have been a little better. Overall worth a watch for something that will keep you interested and entertained.

Don't Breathe 2 (2021)

Not the same movie...

This was not the same as the first movie in the series, but it was better. Stephen Lang did a wonderful job returning as the blind man who is basically the good guy and is raising his daughter wih a very strict upbringing that one day might save her life. Not super fast paced but not boring either and with a storyyline that is great and easy to follow this one is definitly worth a watch.

Malignant (I) (2021)

This movie is crazy...

At first I was like, what's going on? As the movie progresses, more and more details and storyline is presented and answers alot of the questions you are asking yourself while watching. Not a fast-paced movie, but slowly builds up to a really awesome ending that is funny,action-packed and grusome all at the same time.

Frankenstein (1931)

A Timeless Classic

I really enjoyed this movie and I was surprised it took me as long as it did to actually sit down and watch it. What is there not to like about a mad scientist, a grave yard and grave robbers,a hunchback assistant, a defunct brain, and some body parts? This movie has it all. I loved how the Monster has emotions and isn't a cold-blooded killer but has certain morals.

I watched this to regain that since of nostalgia from my teenage years watching Jackass. These guys are funny and come up with the craziest ideas you can imagine. I would hate to be part of the cast living in fear of being pranked at any moment. I could have done without the nudity but otherwise good movie and very funny.

Attack of the 50 Foot Woman (1958)

This movie was pretty typical for its day and the graphics left a little to be desired. The movie is a revenge story with HUGE consequences for an unfaithful husband and a rich heiress. The acting was ok and the story was ok with a runtime of about an hour.5 out of 10.

12 Angry Men (1957)

Great Acting At It's Finest.

12 Guys one room and a boy's life Hanging in the balance of their decision. As you watch you go through Evidence and hear the murder as it happned and it makes you feel as if you were in the room. The acting was phenominal and thats what makes this movie so great. You dont need alot to make a movie interesting just good actors and a great plot.6 out of 10.

Disturbia (2007)

Suspenseful until the end.....

I watched this movie as just something to watch and ended up loving it. For basically a single setting throughout the entire movie, it kept my attention and made me want to watch more. Great acting and cool plot kept this movie very enjoyable all the way through.7 out of 10.

A Horror Adventure

This was a great movie and took me on an adventure with a horror twist. This was the equivalent to an adult Goosebumps movie and was just awesome. I really liked the plot and the different scenes from different wax exhibits take you through a different storyline each time. Really reccomend to give this movie a try.8 out of 10.

Camp Nowhere (1994)

Reminds me of my childhood

This is the typical movie that you would have seen growing up in the 90's. It has an awesome cast and has a funny storyline. For some reason i don't remember this movie growing up but watched it in my 30's and loved it. This would be the camp that we all wished we could go to growing up.7 out of 10.

The Game (1997)

A little far fetched....

This movie was a great idea to make but not very believable. I feel like it's not realistic at all, with that being said, if you can look past all the plot holes not a bad movie and actually quite entertaining. Probably some lessons to be learned and you might think differently after watching this film.6 out of 10.

Tarantula (1955)

A Great Movie

This is definitely a classic that anyone could enjoy. It's not really even about the Tarantula, but more about science and tells a good story. The acting was really good and the effects were ok for it's time. Even better than the movie i think is the art work that is on the movie poster with all it's vibrant colors.6 out of 10.
