Seriously BORING Timothy Chalamet is OVERRATED this is NO LOTR!!!

1st offtalk talk then they talk talk talk, not creative fun dialog like the new Guy Ritchie film, saw that yesterday and maybe that's why my wife and I didn't like this Guy Ritchies movie BLEW THIS AWAY it was entertaining from the get go.

Also the villian in this us basically Jabba the hut went on a diet. Bautista was yelling every 1 of his lines. The 1st film was entertaining it was a solid 7 but this is a train wreck. It's a streaming film I already know people are saying this guy doesn't know movies, actually people make it more complicated than it needs to be. Movies should entertain us THATS it . This movie had 2 many down moments with unnecessary dialog. If you give this over a 6 YOU Don't know movies or you're extremely bored.

If they made it 1 hour 45 or 2 hours MAX with added action or less boring dialog it would have been a decent movie Bring on kingdom of the APES!!

Unfrosted (2024)

When I heard about the premise I thought this might work, read who was involved, my wife and I said this might be comedy gold!! Instead we had a movie with no laughs at all. It shows Seinfeld is not funny as an actor without Larry David. If he was involved the cast would have had BETTER roles with BETTER dialog. This seems to be written by idiotic 8 year Olds. Jokes are extremely blah with a large dose of we can hear it coming!! Predictable jokes can work if theyre FUNNY. We are movie buffs, our favorite is a mixed genre that involves comedy. Action comedy, horror comedy, dark comedy, this film is indescribable , I believe it's suppose to be a satire comedy ?? Hard to describe how bad thus film is. When the reviews hit I believe this will be in the 3s or 4s at best. Too bad we grew up during the cereal boom and can relate to the products but can't relate to the abysmal writing. NEGATIVE 1. On this flop it was free and I still want a refund. With this cast should have been an east 9!! Stick to stand up Jerry . OR Get Larry David to execute your ideas.

1st off WTF are directors casting Post Nalone in movies?? He can't act and this role was the worst casting for him yet. Post fat ass Malone plays a bad ass street fighter a vicious cage fighter REALLY WE'RE SUPPOSE TO BELIEVE this???? Then we get Billy Magnusson who is OK as a villian but over acts!! And the cherry on the top of bad acting Conor McGregor plays a crazy I guess hired gun to kick ass. He walks around the whole movie bow legged with a stick up his ass, smiles through the whole movie while mumbling his terrible lines. If he would have just been himself it would have maybe work. His ONLY saving grace is his 1st and VERY last scene. I'm giving it a 7 because of Jake Gyllenhaal he had a tough task filling Patrick Swayzes iconic role and did FREAT also I bumped it up for the humor. NOTHING better than comedy mixed with action.

It's worth watching especially on Amazon at home. Theater has become overrated. 2 many loud talking, phone watching, people you have to sit with.

Here's ANOTHER example of a piece of garbage it's NOT ART it's a masterpiece of crap I'll give it that some SO called movie expert said this is a great film so complete idiots have to agree THATS AMERICA. This film a masterpiece?????? HOW??????

Let's see terrible stop motion ( go watch polar express) story is all over the place the sex scene was something out of a bad b title no make that a horrendous b title the unnecessary nudity adds to the garbage film that it is. The voices are all 1 person so everyone sounds exactly the same WOMAN and men. What a waste of 3 talented actors all 3 are brilliant actors and they can't make this even a 2!! If you haven't seen it DONT go watch the movie 9 or watch polar express or Guillermo del toros Pinocchio now THATS a MASTERPIECE or watch Spirited away. I'm going to watch polar express in 3d right now to get this masterpiece of bile out of my mind. If you liked this I bet you voted 4 Trump!!

The Enforcer (2022)

People are WAY OFF excellent film with excellent cast!! ANTONIO SHINES AGAIN!!

Don't listen to the nay sayers and so called movie experts it's an entertaining movie especially for dads who have daughters. Antonio is great as ALWAYS , he's refrained in this performance and it's perfect. His acting is suppose to Show he's a different person that the Cuda character he's created. As usual the movie public misses that I mean this gets a low 5 and barbie gets a 7 HUH???? This film isn't taken or equalizer and it doesn't claim to be that. Its a simple film that's short and sweet and fills all the holes, acting check, story check cinematography check great ending check. Antonio is a PHENOMENAL actor and although I prefer His over the top roles like in expendables he shows he can show restraint and STILL carry a movie. The side characters are there to guide his transition from Cuda to an actual human being AND a father. PLEASE WATCH it easily should be a 7!! Gave it a 9 to adjust for THE negative nellies!!

YOU want TRUE horror watch in the mouth of madness, or the conjuring, or the evil dead, maybe dead snow or dead alive but to give thus pike if garbage a 7 is an insult to TEYE horror fans who know horror although it does get a 7 for horror writing, directing dialog, only good thing is it had some good practical effects . People ate possessed they're being murdered so what should we do go get some apple ice cream OMG PEOPLE WAKE THE FYCK UP quit following what someone says some moron says it's a great movie and you morons agree. If you want further proof how ignorant this country is 40 million people voted for Donald Trump THATS A 10 HORROR FILM.

First off great acting phenomenal cast but a MASSIVE missed opportunity to make it a 10 . This was filled with dialog which in 2023 makes it a film you can watch at home we have an 85 inch OLED TV and watched the 4k version. Here is the problem Oppenheimer is basically Doctor Frankenstein we See IN DETAIL him create his but when it's time to finally see the monster we DONT we hear how devastating he is how he killed all these people but we NEED TO see the monster. This was the RARE time a block buster DIDNT use special effects. It could have show what Hiroshima saw felt. What we did can be argued saved lives yet could also have shown that BOMBS are monsters and Nukes are the ULTIMATE one. What a nassive missed opportunity, love Nolan but this 1 is a 1 time watch maybe a second viewing free MN you can pause and take breaks. I'm SO GLAD we didn't waste our once a month theater trip on this film.

A 5 or 6 tops!!

Frasier (2023– )

Proves Kelsey is NO LEADING actor needs great cast which this does not!!

The old Frasier is 1 of the best comedy sitcoms ever and its because of a PHENOMENAL cast David Hyde was hilarious and him and Kelsey just worked. Daphne Roz and the GREAT Mr. Mahoney was living on the comedy cake!! Also great writing and Bull was quite funny . Seemed to attract great special episode actors and actresses. This sitcom is just BLAH none of that magic like the 1st . I usually try not to compare and just let reboots talk for themselves but this was SO BAD . Te watch the original or Cheers the show that launched Frasier SKIP this trainwreck. Its barely a 1!! I see why David Hyde passed on doing this show I think he knew and his character will remain 1 of the best ever. No taint for him or any if the old characters but it's a black mark kn Kelsey an grab. I bet it lasts 1 season AT MOST. No way it gets renewed.

It's so funny and yet highly ANNOYING how everytime Anderson comes out with a I guess we call it a film the critics and his lemmings go crazy about how great it is. I think NO I know people have forgotten the MAIN reason we have films it's to ENTERTAIN not to display our pompous idea of what we believe is art. Why did i watch it's simple with the AMAZING cast he assembled AGAIN it pulled me in and also because Budapest hotel was actually a excellent film so i figured go against previous train wrecks and go in fresh and give it a go. THIS FILM IS ABOUT NOTHING. Accomplishes nothing has no genre . Its NOT funny contains NO action No Drama No history No horror No mystery you get the point. SO PLEASE lemmings wake the bleep up so instead of this WASTE of talent time resources we can get something that actually ENTERTAINS it's so ANNOYING that directors like this get accolades while GENIUSES like John Carpenter have had enough and dont share their PHENOMENAL ENTERTAINING films with us. Dont believe me watch 2 of wars Anderson's films then watch The thing and in the mouth of madness. NOT EVEN CLOSE!! OH and I dont care if Jesus himself is in his next film I will WATCH A Carpenter or PAINT DRY.

Justified: City Primeval (2023)

If you're giving this a high score as a justified series continuation or limited return you havent a clue what made the original click. The original is right up there with breaking bad, The wire, Dexter etc. What made it shine was its AMAZING villians including but not limited to the great Walter Goggins the other villians or criminals all were perfect they also broke the law cause they didnt have any way in their eyes to make money or they had motivations other than just killing people which is what this series has. This version has a mindless boring villian killing because hes i guess a maniac but it's not JUSTIFIED. Also where is the sarcastic banter between the characters the original had some of the best dialogue ever. Funny sarcastic creative you never knew what 1 would say to the other but it was going to be sarcastic and funny as hell. This show is a 2 because it has Timothy Olyphant ONLY .....also his daughter is HORRIBLE in every way.

What's so funny is EVERYTIME I watch a Stephen Dorff film it's a 3 to 5 at best yet that pompous arrogant ignorant jerk says Marvel movies suck and actors and actresses that are in them are sell outs . We ALL KNOW He says that cause they make in 1 movie what him his agent and anyone associated with him will make their WHOLE life so of COURSE HES JEALOUS. He doesn't have the charisma to be in a big movie. He's just an average actor with below average looks. He acts exactly the same in every film this 1 is no exception . We did stay till the end the last 30 minutes was VERY gory and fun but that's it. Very amateur film it's a 3 to 5 TOPS!! Now I'll go watch Guardians of the galaxy A SOLID 10!!!!!

Paper Man (2009)

At the time of this review it currently has a 6.5 ARE U KIDDING me?? This film has NO REDEEMING quality and to make things worse somehow someone or some CURSE forced this usually GREAT cast to make this bore fest of a dumb ass movie!! To make things worse one of our favorite actors Ryan Reynolds who until this garbage film...hadn't made a film we didn't enjoy. GREAT films like Voices which was one of if not his best even Amityville horror we enjoyed and we all know after that. He's terrible in this he looks like a drugged out will Ferrell on Steroids . The story was all drama I guess but the story lacked no heart even the GREAT Jeff Daniel's and Emma Stone couldn't do anything with this script. Now you know why YOU AND ALL OF US NEVER HEARD OF IT and why it only grossed $13,000 WORLDWIDE cause it SUCKED!!

This movie is extremely underrated you can tell by my summary we loved it. I give up on reviews ESPECIALLY when horror is involved as 90 percent haven't a CLUE what a Good horror film is let alone a GREAT horror film is. To give this a 5 which would mean average at best is an insult to everyone involved. Let's sum up shall we ....it had a great cast , it had an excellent story, it had tension, it had GREAT special effects, it had gore, it had a GREAT setting, the scenery was spot on the cinematography was brilliant thus making it OBVIOUS it had a great director. So what did I miss ??????? That actually qualifys it for a 10 but I reserve those for evil dead, deranged, exorcist, dead alive, dead snow 2, phantasm you know iconic FLAWLESS horror films. A 5 I THINK NOT !!

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023)

The reason Guardians of the galaxy is the BEST trilogy EVER is it has absolutely NO down time never 1 moment where you are bored or dies your mind wander I am bipolar and have ATD and not once watching all 3 in same day did I not stay completely focused on the film. ALL 3 grab ahold and don't let go . It's the PERFECT combination of humor action PHENOMENAL SCIFI AND SPECIAL EFFECTS and story that my friends makes this what we call a FLAWLESS MASTERPIECE OF FILMS. I love LOTR and we are also HUGE 3d fans TRUE movie BUFFS know it's by far the best way to EXPERIENCE a film. BOTH JAMES know this and do a PHENOMENAL job in giving us a TRUE 3d experience mr Cameron and NOW my Gunn. I just pray to the MOVIE gods he does for DC what he did for marvel. He's created his own legacy now so we're expecting GREAT things. HUGE loss for Marvel actually Disney but a major SCORE for DC. THANK YOU TO THE WHOLE CAST AND CREW EVERYONE INVOLVED YOU created a MASTERPIECE!!! Excuse me MASTERPIECES!!!

Evil Dead Rise (2023)

I think people don't get this series I'm 1 of the few who actually saw this in a b title theater. Then I sold the vhs copies to video stores in the 80s I was a video wholesaler that specialized in b title movies. Anyway ..... the great thing about these films was the evil dead book the necronomicon released a spirit or demon that possessed people and turned them into demons or deadites. They were not just intent on killing you they wanted to humiliate you screw with you then if you're lucky kill you. This film did little of that it also made most of the possessed more like zombies then deadites the mom was close . The end combination creature wasn't a deadite or evil dead material at all looked like a h.p. Lovecraft concoction which I guess is OK because the original necronomicon is from the GLORIOUS h.p. Lovecraft. BUT evil dead was Sam Raimi and Bruce campbell NOT h.p. And this didn't have that evil dead fell to us. The last version with the female lead was much better it followed the formula much better. Now as a horror movie we loved it great gore phenomenal effects especially the practical effects . So as a straight up horror I'd give it a 7 or 8 but as an evil dead film it's a 3 or 4. Oh and the elevator homage to the shining HAS BEEN DONE ENOUGH quit already!!

Renfield (2023)

ABSOLUTELY A BLAST!! Fun from start to hilarious finish!! Solid 10!!

Nick Cage has is ups and downs especially the last decade but he hit a home run here. The WHOLE cast was phenomenal not a weak link anywhere. Loved this movie it was some John Wick some dead alive some actual VINTAGE Dracula and creative action comedy it really doesn't get any better than that. Anyone who rates this under a 10 doesn't understand great movie making and or doesn't have a sense of humor. I can't find a flaw so that my friends is a 10!! I'm hoping we get a sequel this film deserves it!! Some of the bloody action scenes were phenomenal no make that all of them especially the ones that had the comedy added to them. It's been a GREAT month at the theater now next evil dead rise!! It's a great time to be a movie buff and nothing is better than a hybrid comedy!!

The Final Wish (2018)

Shows how IDIOTIC IMDB REVIEWERS ARE!! Solid film but it's a thriller! Lin Shaye is BRILLIANT!

We've seen this film at least 6btimes we throughly enjoy it ESPECIALLY the phenomenal job by Lin Shaye who is an extremely UNDERAPPRECIATED AND UNDERRATED actress!! She shows it here my wife and I have NO IDEA how a film like thus receives a INSULTING 4.3 while an absolute pile if garbage like skinimirink or whatever the bleep it's called gets a 5. Something. This film is solid all around great cast great story excellent special effects I mean what else do you want??? There are 3 scenes that Lin Shaye just blows us away we always REWIND THEM especially the 1 where she yells at her son and talks about father and hus daddy then tells him to go to his room if you don't see the PHENOMENAL acting then YOU shouldn't give films reviews cause you haven't a CLUE what you're talking about. Her acting in this is a 10!! We liked the story no its not original a little predictable but that's not necessarily a bad thing if done right and this film did it right. Anyway a 4.3 is so fricking off base it's a joke it should be in the 6s for sure and why it's categorized as a straight up horror might be why it's more of a thriller so look past that and look at it as a light horror thriller with a fantastic lead performance by the INCOMPRABLE Lin Shaye!!!!

Over the years and ESPECIALLY now people have over complicated what a films purpose is let me simplify it for ALL of you it IS to be ENTERTAINING!! It can be scary it can be educational emotional the movie can make you happy make you sad it can be about love war peace just about ANYTHING but it has to be ENTERTAINING and it has to have SOME kind of story or a WAY of being entertaining. This film has NONE OF THAT it's by far the worst THING I have no make that we have seen it fits into NO genre as of this time films have no GARBAGE genre!! The quality of this film is less than terrible it's an insult that they charged people to see it. It's even worse that people have ACTUALLY given this any kind of credit for being anything other than garbage it's not a film it should be thrown away. I don't bother addressing critics they have 1 function it's to tell us what we're suppose to like and dislike when in reality it's simple like art it's to ENTERTAIN YOU TO inspire you. Garbage isn't inspiring and it most certainly isn't ENTERTAINING!! Do yourself a HUGE favor go watch a rerun of the loveboat or the bachelor PASS ON THIS I have to go take a Tylenol now and then watch Princess Bride IMMEDIATELY!!

Knock at the Cabin (2023)

Excellent film don't judge it as a M Night film judge it as a THRILLER film by Mr director X

Unfortunately for Mr M Night he started out with a good news bad news scenario when his name became famous from the 6th sense. People absolutely loved the film 99.9 ACTUALLY didn't see the twist coming I didn't see it till the very end but he already had me!! Has to be top 3 revealing twists of all time I mean it was a Alfred Hitchcock quality film from start to phenomenal finish.

BUT........then he is forever compared to that film everyone expects that AHA GOTCHA moment at the end and it's not fair. I was 1 of them till everyone starting bashing him and I'm one who often goes against the grain and I did so with Mr M Night. I LOVED the happening people didn't get it I did signs was PHENOMENAL it had tension yet NO GORE no cheap parlor tricks NO PARANORMAL activity garbage its a cinematography masterpiece glass unbreakable solid 8s and SPLIT OMG features a OSCAR performance by JAMES MCAVOY how he wasn't nominated and WIN EASILY is an absolute travesty which is always a nod to the direction and the DIRECTOR. And again you see it here this is BY FAR dave Bautistas finest performance I would say oscar worthy maybe not winning but close to a nomination his gentle acting, voice , his mannerisms outstanding!! The film is again to me reminiscent of my favorite director Alfred Hitchcock !! Mr Night may not be the greatest story teller of all time to you but I believe he's 1 of our best director's he most certainly is one of the MOST UNDERRATED AND UNDERAPPRECIATED!! Oh and I liked old as well!!!

Assassin's Creed (2016)

AS my summary states this fi was blasted right from the start and many didn't get it . The concept is basic and sometimes that's great it gives a film a chance to let the effects and in this case let the 3D CINNEMATOGRAPHY be the star also we HIGHLY disagree Fassbender is phenomenal in his role his fight scenes are excellent and he dud 95 percent of his own which shows his commitment to his craft!! Everyone did rheur job well its not suppose to be lord of the rings its a movie based on a fricking video game people!!!! So in comparison to other video game films its EASILY in the top 5 so to you people who give thus under a 6 YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKIBG ABOUT!! Critics never do so theyre opinion doesn't matter anyway. The film starts with excellent action keeps you entertained throughout and the 3d is STUNNING as a 3d videophile. We LOVED it the 3d bluray is a must own . Having watched thus at least a dozen times now since it's release we can honestly say it's a SOLID 7 - 9 .

Infinity Pool (2023)

A Cronenberg WANNA be film but it's a TRAIN WRECK! his dad needs to TRAIN HIM!

If you watch this piece of garbage and give it anything over a 2 you obviously are using hallucinating drugs!! His father the LEGEND CRONENBERG didn't just make films unique for the sake of uniqueness he made them unique because they were original and ENTERTAINING and provocative and always a story that you could understand it may have been strange but not ridiculous like this film. The movie starts out kind of creepy the story and plot seems to be going in the right direction then all of a sudden it goes off the rails some of the scenes are just incredibly STUPID especially a couple scenes with skarsgard why he did this film is beyond us maybe he needs money who knows but people may lie and say they like it but it'll be remembered for how incredibly stupid it is and how BAD the 2nd half was. ONLY bright light was Mia Goth who had a couple of scenes that were actually hilarious but she's a master at comedy horror. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY wait and see it via streaming or on cable. NOT THEATER WORTHY!!

Sawed Off (2022)

For what it is quite entertaining and worth you watching!! More comedy horror for us!

If you watch it and expect a straight up scary or gore fest horror film I think you'll be let down . It's a lower budget comedy horror with some decent acting especially by Trae Ireland I think that's his name the black dude anyway some moments we both actually laughed pretty hard.vthe premise had a little uniqueness to it that went into a basic horror formula that brought it down a few notches. I'd probably give it a 6 or 6.5 but due to the extremely unfair and obvious amateur horror reviews we kicked it up aittle to off set the low 4 imdb rating. Horror is probably the hardest genre especially now because it's so popular that you get a new 1 every week and the story's are getting harder and harder to be unique so we just base our review scores on is it ENTERTAINING and this film was definitely that. Watch it you'll get a few laughs and that to me is worth it right there!!

Funhouse (2019)

The movie had potential the story although not original but entertaining was dwarfed by horrible acting only decent actor was the pandas villian everyone else was a 1 out if 10. The director doesn't know how to work with actors you can see that instantly and it just gets worse. It shows when any actor has to reflect ANY emotion especially fear or pain my 8 year old grandkids can act better. The gore effects were very good so we did manage to finish it we kind of guessed the ending not exact but pretty close but we don't consider predictable a bad thing all the time especially with horror as its a genre that's over done so it's hard to be original. If this had a better director with better acting this would be a solid 6 or 7 but as is its a 3 or 4 TOPS!! If you're bored nothing to watch it's free on hulu so it's no excruciating so watch it once for the effects.

Again my wife and are are absolutely stunned that this brilliant scifi drama is getting a 5.4 this reminds me of The Thing when I saw it all those years a go and nobody liked it BUT NOW they get it!! I GUARANTEE you this will have the same result. Watch this film , the excellent story, the phenomenal cast , the great action and fighting scenes and some of the best special effects I've seen in a LONG TIME. You give these new star wars films great ratings and scores and you get a unique scifi with heart and grade it low. What an insult to the cast and crew. My wife and I give it a SOLID 10 OUT OF 10! If you watch this and don't get it then sorry YOUR LOSS!! TO THE FILM MAKERS PLEASE BRING A SEQUEL!! BRAVO!! Now we go watch it ALL over again. Thank you Netflix and PLEASE ignore the amateur reviews this needs a sequel.
