The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022– )

Lacks Soul

I was floored with how boring the show is. It is lacking the soul of the Lord of the rings, and to a lesser extent the hobbit. There is no lightheartedness, no camaraderie, no one to even care about. I know who the characters are, but I am not given any reasons to like or care about any of them. This feels like a first draft of a show of this scale, written by someone who does not have experience with character interactions or making interesting characters. It feels like it was made from an outline.

The special effects are good, but then some of the force settings look so fake, I don't understand why so much time was spent on CGI, but not to make the forest floor look real. The forest floor look real.

Plot Makes no Sense

Why would anyone be a vampire hunter if it didn't pay great money. There is no world in which he should have money issues. What he is getting paid for vampire hunting I would expect he could make cleaning pills in California.

Star Trek: Discovery (2017–2024)

Review Would be Much Higher Except for Michelle Yeoh

I loved this show, but Michelle Yeoh is such a bad actor, and the just keep adding more of her. Remove her from the show and you've got gold. Everyone else in the show is from an entirely different (better) caliber of actors.

The Dark Tower (2017)

It doesn't feel like anyone working on this movie has any experience with the Dark Tower books, storytelling, or making movie. Such a disgraceful movie. Just follow the source material. This is hardly related to the books.

The Orville: From Unknown Graves (2022) Season 3, Episode 7

Worst episode of all three seasons

I found this to be the most politically upsetting, and boring episode. I cannot believe that the union would want to welcome a sexist society into their fold. I am positive that had the gender roles did reversed in this episode, everyone would feel the same. The union is supposed to be a good place, and I don't believe they would tolerate such sexism. It does not matter which gender the sexism is directed to, it is wrong.

It's a shame, because everything with Isaac and the kalon's in this episode is awesome.

Ms. Marvel: Seeing Red (2022) Season 1, Episode 4

Canada is part of America.

The show is great, I rate it highly, had to give this one a half rating because of the derogatory statements toward Canada. America is all of North and South America. Any other interpretation is something that has been pushed on us since the early '80s, something about exceptionalism from the United States, but America belongs to all of us. Canada is part of America!

This show is wonderful, hilarious, surprising, cute, freaking everything. somewhere between Parks and recreation and office space. I hope some big streaming company or something has their eye on it and will bring it back!

So Boring, Suck Bad Acting

Just go watch Clone Wars or Rebels, great plots, lovable characters with growth...

The Mandalorian feels like a show intended for preschoolers or something.

The Whole Episode was Really Dialed In

I thought the first episode of The Mandalorian season 2 was boring, poorly acted, poorly choreographed, and even the extras were lackluster.

Timothy Olyphant tells a decent story in the middle of the episode, but other than that, it was terrible.

Poor acting, The actress playing Mulan clearly has no martial arts training period to the movie, she is a terrible actor... Just watch the original again... This was as mad as the lion King remake

Anakin and Amidala risk their lives on a regular basis to capture Greivous. There is no world in which Amidala would trade Greivous for Anakin. If she'd do that, then why are either of them involved in this war?

One of the VERY few BAD episodes of "The Clone Wars."

It is clear that many of the reviewers on here didn't even watch the movie. Many of the reviewers discuss what they *think* the movie will consist of. It didn't disappoint.

Tomb Raider (2018)

This was an insult to fans of the game, and even worse than the first two movies. Laura is a scumbag who can't get a decent job, can't pay her bills, and is dumb as nails. So many inconsistencies throughout the movie to mention. Not even worth a rental.

The Little Hours (2017)

So Disappointing

Let me start by saying that I love most of the cast of this movie, but...I don't love them in this movie.

The acting was terrible, the jokes were for simpletons. I found this to be an excruciating movie to watch, and wish I could have that time back.

I couldn't find one redeeming quality (or even good joke) in the entire movie.
