Kat Graham is still sexy
11 October 2023
Though we see an ensemble of a talent, the storyline not only falls shorts but resorts to NBC styled cliche of twisted affair in consequence that clashes with the main characters troubled and disturbing past. One thing for certain is Kat Graham's natural hair is element to reminding audiences that her sexiness has always been something she was born with.

We meet Claire a thriving woman who's past behavior cokes into question though she can fool audiences with innocence or scorned she meets her match in the form of being the mistress of a high profiled entrepreneur not only is she wife of her CEO but she entangles herself in their lives not to social climb but to hide her true personality of a rather troubled woman. It reunites her with a Vampire Diaries costar and uses allegory of the excessive heat all while falling in and out of art house featured films, not too worthy of its praise but well enough that the central cast deserves their recognition.

A lot is happening and it needed more attention
17 August 2023
So it's not that the acting is bad is just that there is a big story that defines who Keyshia is and unfortunately this should have made into either a mini-series or television show because their legit was not enough time to fit it into one movie on the Lifetime Network. Keyshia is trying to do autobiographical similar to Prince or Eminem with Purple Rain and 8 Mile, but this movie falls flat by not giving her or the cast enough room to showcase and it shows that Keyshia might have been uncomfortable reliving some moments of her life particularly with this story she sheds light on the relationship with her biological mother but even at that, this is a story for theatre's not for lifetime and that's unfortunate as Keyshia is not a bad actress but her lack of space to showcase was not given. The story could not shed led on her other relationships in her life as well as the struggle between her adoptive family and the late rapper Tupac nor did it give her the chance to show her friendships that guided her in life away from the career driven woman she was. Sadly this might be the only Keyshia Cole story we get.

A soap opera & hallmark film had a baby and its a mess adopted by mtv
5 August 2023
This film starts as a wholesome with a vision to be heartwarming which is the main point I think but using tropes of struggling young mother whose marital life she is trying to deflect that of her own parents but finds herself in similar to worst predicaments is just cliche. For starters Lil Mama decides to take back a cheater after her own mother berates the man for having no goals and the admittance of him being a cheater. Yeah, we can blame this on the absent father causing his daughter to have issues with men but the direction of the film fails to show that in the character development. It is almost as if BET+ is just allowing anything on their networks with out a little quality control.

If they keep this up we going to have tubi cheap movies or worst, those SyFy network television films where the acting and effects of the camera work are just horrible. The storyline in this films lacks structure consistency and the actors the breathing room to perform without looking at clock it is just a huge mess and it makes the network look bad.

Whose the Douchebag who tried to hard with this pretentious crap fest
25 July 2023
So a English teacher whose selfish and unoriginal ways catch up with him in this interconnected story as he feels responsible for something out of control and he abandons his family to find himself ignoring all of his responsibilities all the while his son is suffering and takes up comfort in the arms of a stranger who is grieving the death of his brother a ghostly figure who is just a cliche and utterly looks like a Jackass following everyone around but has no purpose as does this film alongside the side character Dylan whose seems to want to evade other people's business and avoid his own actions as well as his father who refuses to listen to his daughter the only character who refuses to let people's annoying selfishness ruin her chances of peace which is something Alice is finding despite her and her daughter serving a point or reflection you could say but despite her being too old and her daughter looking nothing like Dylan only begs a lot of plot holes and frankly bland story telling, not mention the nonsense wife of the English teacher whose name is Finn, but he sure can't swim his way out of this one. There are four redeeming characters in this whole bit, this movie is unoriginal slightly campy and not in purposeful way and it does everything it can to anger the audience. The amount of being pretentious is just disrespectful to Independent Films and down right disgusting that you would waste your time on how hard they try. It is actually career damaging if the actors and actresses ever have to confess to being a part of the picture.

Paula DeAnda: IIWY (2023 Music Video)

Paula DeAnda Back In Action
3 May 2023
Now all the most excited, Paula DeAnda has returned to our small screens not only with a hot single but also marking her return to VEVO after a fifteen year absence.

In the video Giulini Wever directs a homage to Pam Grier and Tamara Dobson within a Rush of East side fun and Bratz styled glamour. Miss Wever herself also features in cameo as Paula leads to assist her lover in a joyride and crimes spree through the city and even showcases a an action fight scene between actual martial artist and actor Tony Surphman. Paula concludes the video with a poetic node to reality, receiving her flowers which is long over due considering her career has taken many lengths she has gone.

Within the song, Paula gives a rhythmic melody that claps back to P. Diddy's "I need a Girl" double feature as well as influence to fellow Texas girl Beyoncé. She reassures us she is still the Queen of R&B and Latin Soul by way of Spanish harmonies and octaves that. Her lyric "I'd love me for Life" concludes a ode to all of her fans and the gratitude she shares.

A movie you watch once and regret later
7 October 2022
In this adaptation that seems more like a parody of the original series both cgi and cartoon, we get a whole new universe where one of the popular characters, Clawdeen is a half human breed completely ruining the storyline to Frankie's Boyfriend Shriek. Not only does Clawdeen not have Draculaura's cousin Thad as a boyfriend but she seems to be a love interest for Deuce the Gorgan, the boyfriend to Cleo however he has became an ex-boyfriend in this film. Not only are Clawdeen's siblings missing but also several other characters. Each personality is different and the fact that Clawdeen was originally an Afro-Latina, Draculaura a Transylvanian, or Lagoona an Australian. This also sets up a different dynamic in the school.

If the Trailer was not obvious this movie is terrible
10 November 2021
Frankly I am being too nice about this rating by giving it 3 stars it really deserves 1 or -10 but let's talk about "Just Another Dream". First off the FX and Camera quality gives off that 2008-2015 cheap fast Android phase that Lifetime Network Went through and sometimes still does. This definitely is no excuse for even the cheapest Television Film in axis channel. Aside from that the acting is ridiculous because we are dealing with Youth in Film Award winning And Grace Award Nominee Kristy Swanson who really needs to fire her agent because these movie deals lately are horrible not to mentioned it seems the only time she gives her best performance is in a Hallmark Movie or PrimeTime series guest spot. That being said the acting seems forced and not enough dialogue editing due to a terrible script and bad direction because even Dean Cain who literally played Superman should know better. Aside from that this movie had terrible editing all around and the plot was not thoroughly thought out. It has Premonition and Danika written all over it with subtle jabs at Poltergeist which brings us back to question of why these actors would agree to this project. Bottom line do not waste your time.

Great story that does not deliver
11 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Let's discuss the New York City Serenade. An obvious attempt at sincere drama of the independent flick, we have two friends of a history of knowing themselves too well. One friend dreams of success in the film industry and the other is simply drifting through his life hoping he can find the strength to make his daughter proud. However Owen (Prinze Jr.) has succumbed to a mild diva attitude often without realizing he belittles Ray (Klein). Ray tries to joy in his life as a rundown drummer and he feels lacking in area as a father to his and his ex-wife's daughter. When a night of inconvenience spurs from partying the selfish Owen cheats on his fiancé and attempts to cover it up. When it is found out during a funeral trip for a distressed friend, Owen's fiancé dumps him for her professor as she constantly ignores his attempt to get her back. When the short film the two friends created is selected for a award nomination the two make a trip to Hollywood. Despite his lack of adult maturity, Ray is actually trying to grow to better himself and due right by his family and friends but Owen only sees negatively of his attempts to salvage their friendship. After the fun is over, it becomes clear the problem is not each other individually but clearly them as unit. Some people are just not meant to be together and they part. Ray manages to pick up his life and even reunite with his daughter permanently and Owen manages to succeed in filmmaking, however it is apparent that Ray is the only one who has found happiness as Owen has still not seen past his selfish and shallow ways as he misses his friend who is better off without Owen in his life.

Interesting story with potiential, Terrible direction and ending
11 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I am going to be honest here seeing. Aside from the clever and talented Kristy Swanson who is sexy beyond recognition of terrible hairstyle that doesn't match the movie poster. You can the honest greatness of Stephen Mailer. The whole ensemble was amazing before we got to meet the yet world known Dave Chappelle, or television royalty Matthew Perry and Calista Flockhart.

We see a young Gabriel Higgs (played by Mailer) who trying to right by his affluent family by being a legacy at John Hopkins Medical School taking after his great grandfather down to his sentimental and overbearing father. He manages to make to the waitlist after a nervous interview, unfortunately this wouldn't sit well with the family including his rather young mother (played by Christine Baranski). He spends most of his time worrying and tending to plants as a part of his passion of ecology. With the help of his agoraphobic tech friend Ron (played by Chappelle) they manage to track down all those ahead of him on the waitlist. However things turn dark and comedic as they cross the mentality disturbed Rupert Grim (played by Andrew McCarthy). Higgs manages to cross the paths and illegally bribe the others ahead of him in a spastic way, Grim however sees the competition as inadequate and decides to kill them in comical ways as he plans to frame Gabriel. Unfortunately a less wealthy applicant named Kirby (played by Swanson) who Higgs originally intended to bribe has decided she couldn't go to Hopkins if she wanted and drops the waitlist, in this time both Kirby and Gabriel fall madly in love until she uncovers his original intentions.

The ending falls flat as Grim's attempt to kill Kirby is foiled in a unbelievable way, he jumps to suicide. Instead of showing a respectable reconciliation between the two it is revealed that Gabriel and Kirby married so she can get into Hopkins and continue the legacy by carrying on his last name, Gabriel carries on by becoming an Ecology professor and in cruel irony, Ruperts body is donated to Kirbys classroom for medical purposes. For the only other surviving conspirator, Ron was wheeled away to hospital having been collapsed by the body of Grim in the earlier scene. It is unclear what his fate was but more than likely he is never going to step outside again.

The plot is amazing the story's direction goes astray as the need for comic relief brings too much disappointment. The ending was far too in a rush and the fate of the final two victims did not get resolved for a justice. Aside from that, the abrupt marriage after ending a relationship was just annoying. If not for an original story of desperation this so called independent film could have made for television mystery series.

Not everyday you get religious glory from strong women
11 May 2021
Women of Bible speak is an amazing chronicling various important figures in the Bible who were women and made sacrifices to uphold issue in biblical times. Shannon Bream does her absolute perfection guiding the audience into her story as well as being in other women who are strong on their faith not only to share their stories but also add their personal perspective on how these biblical figures have guided them in their own faith and life today as a woman.

There was potential
18 November 2020
Yes it is true this show had so much potential and if it was given the secind chance it deserved, it would have surprised you. Okay yeah, the first two episodes were definitely rushed but what do you expect from pilot and ands it counter episode. Much like other shows it takes three episodes to pick up the comedy stigma. The show did however go from funny to stupid when it came to the dumb story arc of Denise and Rose have a love triangle and Freddie making a terrible mistake, the whole bit of Denise as a virgin was also stupid. But once the George Lopez crossover came, the show redeemed itself. There was too much unresolved issues that needed to be cleared uo with Feddie and Sofia's Father. I Feel that if they were given a second season they might have made it till 2009. The lack of celebrity guest stars was big no-no. The character development between Allison, Zoey and Grandma was something that should have been taken a little more seriously in the writting process. Most importantly the lack of recurring characters in the show, gave it a dull feeling. But Freddie and Brian gave us that besties for life relationship and Grandma and Sofia show us that we have different dynamics in a Latin household especially when it comes to the family enetering a higher class. The development was there it just needed more time and Freddie shows us in the most comedic way that there is no one more blunt than family. All in all it pays a homage to Freddie Prinze sr. And it shows us that life at the Morenos is so much fun

The Million Dollar Rip-Off (1976 TV Movie)
10/10
A Cult Classic that should have been in theatres not NBC
12 November 2020
Freddie Prinze really gave himself too much flack for this movie. Yes NBC should have given the rights to FOX Networks because at least through them it could have been picked up for theatrical release and not Made-For-Televison. Sadly the story was too short and there was not enough given in the rising action nor the climax, but it spawned lots of potential from the women and of course the Prince of Comedy himself, Freddie. Freddie delivers a serious and fustrated side of himself that could easily remove him from his Chico role. If only he was offered better network films than this one that felt like a pilot for a crime show. Fortunately when Prinze plays Muff he gives us a glimpse of a younger Tony Curtis as well as Al Pacino. The best part is that the character of Muff explores the effort of being young and urban with a whole lot of education and street smarts. When a Genius and Street kid mix it throws you off whirlwind question of how can a kid get into so much trouble. Being a boss and leading as the brain is hard to take seriously when it comes from a young latin man, however Freddie Prinze not only sells us this good but he makes an effort to show the audience that nothing can stop you from being a boss.

A new infinative for the year
14 July 2020
This song is perhaps a progressive tune that shows how far the Latin youth have come to use of Spanish than actually singing in full spanish or english. You can be grateful for spanglish music for those who can't speak Spanish and it mondernizes Hip-Hop in Contemporary Spanish Soul. Drei Ros has had his share in limelight and was smart to bring Paula DeAnda in the video to show a new image to Paula. They made the best decision to bring in new comer Oplus.

Underrated Phenomenon
8 March 2020
This is an amazing talk show, but it should nkt be handled by millennial scum. I think they bring too much of an accelting society of perversion but they allow artist to come and show their work and they bring people who dont have the proper platform to show their work within the Latin American Community and the Urban Culture, which is why this show manages to accomplish what other primetime networks can not and that is giving the littls people a chance to make something amazing.

A Missed Opportunity
21 October 2019
Sadly the music video never met the light of day due to problems backstage. Could it have been the numbers dropping? The fact that the single fell off the Bubbling Hot 100, or was it just personal arguements with Cold Chamber Studio's Mikael Zibi who never released the video but kept the teasing promotional preview that went under the radar. Paula De'Anda has yet to confirm but the song was a smash hit compared to her releases to follow. It is now off of iTunes sadly because of licensing issues with Cold Chamber Studios.

Beats all of the films of the franchise and Here is why
28 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
So you are most likely asking yourself why this film beats its predecessors. Well for instances it actually stay true to Cinderella herself and the elements that were not expressed enough as they should have been in the first three films, although the budget was not the best as for it's set's they really wanted a simple location to bring out the storyline, so that's is forgivable. Jennifer Tilly however brought on a performance to remember giving us a more vindictive StepMother than wicked wrench we have come to learn but stays true to the franchise's stepmothers, she gives a refreshing feel of the horrible Lady Tramane we all know and hate. One Failure in it's Character key however is the Stepsisters, we have too self-absorbed women who treat their stepsister as a slave with the tendencies to be abusive and tormenting, but we didnt get that refreshing feel, like we got from the Steomother's Character, however we do have some major key plot points from the original fairytale of Cinderella and the previous installment of Once Upon A Song: A Cinderella Story; that point is one stepsister is more wicked than the other, and both Stepmother and daughter are willing to let the other one fall under the bus so the most favored can win the prince and fortune. The Fairy Godmother, unlike it's predecessors before, the Cinderella character has multiple Fairy-Godmothers in the shape of close-friends they have come to know and love for years and have developed a great past. This Film stays true to the orginal Tale of Cinderella by a complete stranger (The fairy Godmother or in this Case the musical make-up artist) who sees the pure love, beauty and innocence of the Cinderella character (Sofia Carson) and sees how her talent is going unnoticed in her hard life because she knows that she deserves better, so she gives her the opportunity for success. Plus our Cinderella character and Fairy Godmother come to love each other like mother and daughter Let's not forget one important thing IT'S ACTUALLY ABOUT CINDERELLA, mainly because the plot surrounds Tessa (Sofia Carson) actually playing Cinderella in a musical production. So back on track, we see sadness of our character from being an orphan missing her parents, most forgotten Cinderella point is the Mother. Tessa like Cinderella actually misses her mother and shows teary emotions for both her parents and represents her mother through her favorite flower she put on her shoe (A.K.A glass slipper). So the glass slipper and plant are brought back from the orginal story to this one, in the old tale Cinderella visits her mother's grave where a willow tree is planted (the huge plant was a favorite of her mothers). Now we get into the twist which makes Tessa (Carson) a better princess than Cinderella ever was and beating all the ones before her. Tessa had no intention of getting her success in the name of love, and she (Unlike Gomez, Hale, and Duff) actually goes after her dream not seeking love at all instead she shows her audience (in particular young ladies and girls) that you should love yourself and never let fear & doubt keep you from your dreams and if a boy is in your future he should love you for you. One thing that brings a BIG DIFFERENCE is that our prince charming falls in love with Tessa (Cinderella) instead of the persona she puts on and fools people into loving after their first encounter proving once again you can't fall in love after just one dance. This movie is big factor in feminism amongst young girls with a powerful soundtrack that encourages young girls to be best they can be. Another thing that soley places Carson as the best Cinderella is that she accomplished her dream on her own all the fairy godmother (Musical Make-up Artist) did was show her that she can do whatever she sets her heart on, and didn't need the help of anyone else. In the end Tessa stood up to her awful Stepfamily and kept it classy as well as respectful. So when promoting the film, they weren't lying when they said this isn't your ordinary Cinderella Story as it actually does a justice to rags to riches princess tale we have all come to know and love, and it rightfully puts all the others in it's rightful place. The one major mistake it made was not releasing the film Theatrically and give it a better set, as well as going more in depth on the abuse the character suffered perhaps it would have had a better chance than its predecessors and possibly even go on to inspire girls everywhere as well as making Sofia Carson a legend for changing the Princess into what she rightfully deserved to be, a Girl with so much to show the world. With all fairness the movie deserves a theatrical re-release and best picture nomination or at the least a best actress or female lead nomination for our Darling Sofia Carson.

Beyond any regular Reality Television Show
19 July 2019
This definately deserves 10 stars and was the most viewed show on VH-1 network with an audience of 10 million. Our three stars really no how to vacation and bond as sisters with storylines that show us actual reality, in like certain shows. Its stay away from the drama between castmates and more on the drama they have endured throughout the industry, all the spicy romance is on the way with Lil' Kim, Mýa & Chilli, along with other friends. This will be something to remember.

Frankly it's a depiction of what is real and who is in it for fame
21 May 2019
Within the second half of its second season you will be able to tell who is being true to reality television and who is purposely causing drama for attention. A lot of unnecessary situations had escalated and were not at all well managed. Then there is the emotional turmoil that people use in the show wanting recognition from, and the people rather than address the problems head on, I give it 10 stars because it's pure comedy.

Paula Deanda: Brand New (2015 Music Video)
10/10
A Brand New Paula
12 May 2019
This is a definite redemption since the backlash she recieved for the music video to her song "Your Place". Of course similar to the "Your Place", it was not at all promoted properly and recieved less attraction than "Your Place". This was a shame since she had became served her time on NBC's The Voice. And her widely anticipated Kohl's commercial. However she received more positive reviews as she properly introduces a sexy look, with better visuals and a look into her dance moves. We even learn of her return to modeling, even as far as becoming an Ambassador for Fashion Nova along with Hip-Pop Queen Lil' Mama. However a sadder part of this beautiful story is not only the lack of promotion and introduction to her new look, but the fact that she was not able to negotiate the terms for re-branding the song for sale or promote her E.P. "The Voices and The Beats". Perhaps we will get to see this single once again on all platforms not just on her Soundcloud account.

The best Effort, for say
12 May 2019
This frankly is not a bad song at all and it has the most attraction for her in years and was highly Anticipated since she sung the National Anthem on Television for Canelo vs. GGG. But this video was poorly produced and not at all promoted properly. In fact if we were to take a dive back into 2013 when Gossip site and Blogs were all the rave, many were excited to see Paula Make a come back since she left her label and her single "Besos" was removed, people met the single which was a Bachata version of indie artist Y&G, which is why the single is hard to search for since you have to spell in correct order, a side from that a certain number of people were disappointed by the video and its quality which is what kept gossip blogs and sites enlightened by highlighting the comments of the video where people thanked her for her best effort and appreciated her talent, at the end of the day we can all say Paula will only learn from her mistake by which we mean a better music video with her not looking like what one blogger called a "Cheap Prostitute". But let her Beauty and Talent speak for itself.

Great Score for the wrong reasons
12 May 2019
This movie has a great storyline, but they play way too much in between a PG and PG-13 rating, they honestly tried a little too hard. Cassie Steele and Paula De'Anda carried the film, and their parts should have been more fulfilled. Ally and AJ seriously should have demanded rewrites in the script to better their rivalry chemistry, but the music of the movie was the highlight of it all, along with wardrobe and location sets.
