The Kite Runner (2007)
If you've read the book, you'll feel disappointed
The movie was fine overall, but the story deserved a show , many details and instances were missed because it was a movie.
The cast could have been better.
Cinematography was amazing
Direction and flow was very good
The script needed more pain .
As someone, who has read the book, it felt like everything happened too fast.
If you haven't read the book, do watch it
To watch an amazing adaptation (watch looking for alaska)
John Mayer: Someday I'll Fly (2014)
Just perfect
If you haven't watched this , don't call yourself a mayer fan
P.s- Netflix should buy this
Kalank (2019)
Not as bad , Not as good
The story could have been great if they didn't add the bollywood drama in it , VFX are really poor and it looks like a fake movie , the cast was just not fit for these roles , too many songs, none of them were pleasing to hear or relevant to the story
The dialogues are great though and even writing is good but the Direction, set management and VFX are so bad, there were many shots which could have been taken for real but they used VFX , which were clearly noticeble and looked cheep , I should add Aditya Roy Kapoor has done a great job and has fit the role perfectly, even alia seemed good too.
It's worth a watch but don't set your expectations, view it from your eyes and experience it for yourself!
For good VFX and realistic plot , do watch The pianist(2002), you'll understand what I'm talking about.
Looking for Alaska (2019)
The greatest adaptation ever
It's such a cute show
I wonder why is it so underrated
La casa de papel: El fenómeno (2020)
Amazing documentary of an amazing show
Feels so great watching what happens behind the scenes and how difficult it really is , if you like the show, you're gonna love this.
Don't watch it if you haven't watched the show yet
It is filled with major spoilers
I just can't get why Spain initially didn't love it
#thankyounetflix for picking up a Spanish masterpiece!
