She eats pie for almost 5 minutes. Yes I understand the message. But you really could have represented it better without it being so... Boring.

Sailor Moon Crystal (2014–2021)
1/10
Modern Anime Ruins what was once Great- Again
26 May 2020
This new "Modern" Sailor Moon rips off its ancestor, tears apart relationships and lacks emotion. The new Voice Actors are boring and not as Iconic as the olds one (Granted they do a Normal Job) The Animation is Lackluster and is quickly changed after complaints. Spoiler: It's still ugly.

The show doesn't explore relationships like its Ancestor such as Chibiusa and Pluto- The relationship here is bland and appears as if Chibiusa doesn't care for Pluto. This is not how their relationship is supposed to be depicted. The Introduction of our Sailor Scouts is boring and does not fully express there personality with accurate Portrayals such as the first one (This is something you learn in writing)- For Example Jupiter is met by blocking Usagi from Water when a car passes, in the old one Jupiter fights a bunch of Bullies and Saves Usagi from what could have been a bit of a mess. The Old one gives us a great introduction of what type of character she is- Someone who should be seen as strong, cool and level-headed, whereas this new one, does not do that at all- I learned nothing from this. As I said before characters and scenes Lack Emotion, the cinematography half the time fails the show to be make it Unique so it just ends up like any other Anime nowadays. The new Art Style also makes it feel this way. Just like any other Anime. Sure the new flashy effects when they transform and do magic is cool but it doesn't make up for everything they decided not to do in the new one...

In Conclusion: Boring+Common Art Style, Bad CGI, Boring Voice Acting, Bad Cinematography, Lack of Direction+Lack of Emotion, Lacks the Understanding on how to express Character Growth and Relationships

Just don't waste your time.

BoJack Horseman: The View from Halfway Down (2020)
Season 6, Episode 15
10/10
The Abyss
17 May 2020
You're questioning what it means to go now, you're trying to understand what it means to have lived a life and finally understand face to face what the morality of others also meant to you. To one by one more than ever truly be faced with the others that you've lost. Existential Questions, Thoughts and Visuals attack you all while you contemplate what it means to finally go. And I mean go. The Abyss grows closer but all you can wonder is why it had to be this way? Why am I here? Why did I choose this? "There is no Other Side, This is it" "I wish I'd seen the View from Halfway Down"

Finally, you take a deep breath, and begin to let it flow. You're terrified and that's Okay you realize. It's not easy to accept this reality, but it's all you have left now. You're Okay.

That's what it feels like to watch this Episode.

Legacies: There's Always a Loophole (2019)

Seriously?
14 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
And this being one of the Highest Rated episodes I was super confused to come and check that everyone was just OK with what they watched. I mean... My biggest complaint is Hope coming to save Landon from the Knife falling in, uh but then his Brother comes along after killing the main Monster and he tosses the knife in. So what- Hope just saves the knife the first time, but not the second time when she had more then enough time to do so? She just stands there like a damsel in distress. P-l-o-t-h-o-l-e I mean it's a Teen show but Come on. It's not just this, it seems the Monsters have become so weak as time has gone on. And its just so boring. Maybe its just me but Hope is such a boring, sensitive character. And this Plothole just made me crawl in my skin. I mean, how did she even get to Malivore so quickly? Lizzie is as usual insufferable and Josie who is just too pure forgives her without any real conflict in my opinion. She was clearly going to be fine and you never feel a sense of worry that she will die in this episode. It's just a dumb way to stitch up there relationship.

The Legend of Korra (2012–2014)
1/10
Absolute trash- An insult to the Original Series.
12 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I cannot believe how much popularity this gained after season 2 and the fact that everyone LIKED IT. After watching the first Avatar: The Last Airbender, you are REALLY going to say that THIS is good? I won't be giving it a higher rating because I refuse to boost this rating as it is already high for a show that is just not good at all.

First things first- Korra is a bad character. She's a hypocrite both in the show and in the comic and she's extremely sensitive. The relationships developed in this show are complete and utter garbage including her two-timing with another man 2 while she was dating man 1 and then dating another man 2 and then ending up dating the girl who also dated both of these men too... No one else see how gross this is?

The seasons are rushed and boring and you cannot make a connection to these characters the same way you could with Team Avatar. You feel there is a lack of complexity and emotions in regards to our main crew and that there story most of the time doesn't even make sense. Korra is a bratty teenager and has extremely unnatural reactions to situations (Throwing a fit and then getting upset when her actions have consequences) Her relationship with Asami was a publicity stunt and while this could have been a super cute couple (Whereas the Creators had actually planned this relationship out and knew how to create complex growing characters) they had absolutely no interactions with each other that would give hints at this relationship in the first place- And as stated before, its just gross.

The Animation is fine and the voice actors are also fine but it's so heavily different from our first "Avatar: The Last Airbender" where all of our characters have complex writing, growth and personality that Korra is just insulting. And scratch what I said earlier- ALL of the characters react unnaturally. What are they even thinking half the time? Korra does not even follow Canon, she is seen mastering 3 of the 4 elements right at the start- but born a water bender she struggles the most with Air and NOT Fire bending and if you have seen the Canon show, THIS MAKES NO SENSE. Avatar Aang does not straight away know all of these Elements and it really bothers me that we could have been given a cool story Arch with our Character Korra learning these Elements just how Aang learns his in his Journeys with Team Avatar but instead she already knows 3 of the 4 and SOMEHOW doesn't know Air. DESPITE Air being on her end of the Spectrum and FIRE being the POLAR opposite. YEAH OKAY.

There is so much more to say about this show but I will type an Essay. PLEASE Just stick with the original show and completely ignore this ones existence. Cool.

Overlord (2015–2022)
1/10
Typical Anime Trope; Stereotypical and BORING
8 February 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Don't even waste your time on this, the characters are all very unoriginal and exhibit no original and new personalities. There isn't even a story to be told let alone a plot.

Everything is a sad attempt to make the main character Overlord look like a real "Bad Guy" and the biggest scariest "Villain" around town- A Villain with NO personality and no real point to his life honestly. He's a worthless character who honestly contributes less then his own side characters such as Sebas the butler we see a lot more in season 2.

Also in season 2 you see these furry lizard things (That you literally see have sex at one point) for around 5 episodes. We get a backstory, character arche and then oh?- They are killed off. Wait we resurrected one, WAIT, now they are completely insignificant to the plot for the rest of the show. And in Season 1 you meet this actual Villain (Unlike Overlord) who is Super Strong and has ran the land killing people, we get her backstory, some cool scenes and this great build up over her- Oh wait she also dies. Overlord comes in and absolutely annihilates her with his superpower called "I'm the Main Character". Overlord is extremely OP for no reason and the show features an amazingly LARGE amount of plot holes. We are NEVER told ANYTHING about how the situation Overlord is in happened. This show also features 99% talking and inner monologue that is unimportant and boring for its complete run time, most of the time repeating information 2 million times for the low IQ people who enjoy the show and need to be reminded of things they should already know since episode 1&2 of Season 1.

This happens throughout literally the whole show, it's a huge waste of time and close to being the worst anime I have EVER seen. I want my time back.

Best Piece of American Animation to Date
8 February 2020
I have been watching this show since it released back in 2005. I have seen every episode countless times and I cannot express how much I adore this show. No this show is NOT just for kids and NO the Live Action Adaption by M. Night Shyamalan and Korra will NEVER live up to the original show. There are things in this show I have never seen on any other show and it absolutely nails it. There is unbelievable character building and character development. The voice actors are exceptional and perfect for there characters. There is a history and a fully written background to almost every single character in the show and the world itself (World Building).

I want to say that the characters in this show and there personal struggles are so well represented and manifested that it blows my mind. I cannot begin at my inner artistic struggle to try and explain how amazing this show is. There is so much about every character that even after 15 years I cannot decide who is my favorite character. There is so much world building and plot development that I cannot decide which episode is my favorite. There are scenes that are so well directed that to this day I get unending chills when they come on. Everything about this show is so amazing. It has a ton of good laughs and a lot of really sad moments too. The directors seemed to really put themselves into each characters shoes and try to make there choices realistic but entertaining and sometimes comedic. Sometimes it feels like you can really connect with a character because of this.

The plot itself is another discussion which is also beyond thousands of shows levels. We are given so much political discussion on the basis of what is right and wrong in this show and we are never forced to agree with any of the decisions made by anyone in the show. It brings up several philosophical questions and situations along with very deep and versatile discussions of war, race and society as a whole. The show is very consistent with it's writing and plot- It is never too difficult to understand with tons of plot holes or useless dragging on the story. While the animation is old it's still fluent and to this day holds up as being extremely impressive. I would recommend this show to anybody. And there is so much I want to say that is just impossible to type so all I can really say is- It's just amazing. Absolutely amazing.

Not sure why the adults hate it
24 December 2019
Its definitely a film for kids but how could you hate it? It's SO funny. Pretty much a masterpiece. Nothing makes sense, everyone lacks sense and the acting is pretty much worth an academy award. What else can I say?

Idiot Skeksis need to at least make it through the first episode
12 October 2019
Addressing 3 major things here: -Puppets does not automatically equal "Oh this show is for children" I don't know how close-minded you people are but pretty sure that the creators understood that the original fans of dark crystal are adults by now.

-THE HISTORY OF THE CRYSTAL IS FIRST SEEN FROM WHAT THE GIEFLING AND OTHERS UNDERSTAND. Keep watching and you will see that this is resolved after diving in more, it stays true to the original story idiots.

-If you honestly comment "These puppets are so lame and stupid and why would you do this when we have CGI and better MODERN technology" then you are very brain dead. I am sorry that puppets do not have super movable "emotional" faces and that you cannot handle a classic art style for a tv series that not only makes it SUPER unique but VERY interesting to watch.

Overall: This show stays true to the history of the crystal as we understood it. You are introduced to amazing character designs, puppet work and voice acting from some amazing actors. The environment is atmospheric and beautiful and the music is nice. It's definitely worth watching, give it a try...

Wouldst thou like to live deliciously?
11 April 2019
Maybe not a movie for everyone if you don't like the classic horror or the classic jumpscare infested movie. However, this movie is to put it simple- A piece of art.

This movie takes place during Pre Salem time. Based on documented events and court trials, it's scarily accurate. The way they speak, dress, act- I absolutely love the historical accuracy of this film. The movie is about a family representing all that is against the church at the time- they are all sins and none are completely innocent. It's about a family coping with loss and coping with the issues that a modern family might have- Such as sibling arguments and the idea of not having a means of living- or money for most of us. This movie puts up a very long build-up, suspense filled and to those who might not be very artsy- slow and possibly annoying. But I simply loved it. The actors are perfect for there roles and uncomfortably chosen too. The cinematography is something else as well, with shots that are hard to explain or shots that are beautiful and light on the eyes, really quite enjoyable. Another note that some of the scenes may even require research to understand such as the beginning scene with the baby due to its historical accuracy, which to me is just more fun... But maybe not for others who just want the plot shoved down there throat.

Anyway if you're not into jumpscary stuff- Don't watch this. If you're feeling kinda artsy and into something thats accurate and kind of beautiful, I'd watch this. Really an awesome movie :)

Uhh....I really, I don't even know.
22 November 2018
Watched this when I was young and it gives me major nostalgia, I love Tsukune (The main character) But most of the characters are very cliche anime arc characters... It's very sexualized but as a female I don't really mind, some of it is funny, there is some comedy and etc- Good laughs. There isn't really a plot to be found which is a big bother to me (The manga is very good and way less sexualized, I think the anime maybe follows the manga for like 3 episodes? The plot is much more superior and Tsukune isn't completely useless in it) They really changed A LOT of this show, it's very messy as sometimes the show gets very serious and initiates a short story... The second season is a complete janky crap, the last few episodes really just made me mad as the show makes the group out to be a clique that quite literally outs the other real Moka just for not being the old Moka, (Explained by watching the show) which in reality would be extremely lonely and I can't help but just feel bad for her, which is ridiculous because they try so....hard. Honestly it's okay sometimes, a few moments were really cringy yeah. Idk, I don't hate it, I just don't love it. I can't help but be somewhat okay with it still just for the fact that I really enjoyed it growing up.

Side Note: Mizuki Nana sings all the ending and opening songs, I love me some Mizuki Nana.
