Fences (2016)
This story is both, gripping and compelling.
Fences, told a part of the american story, seldom shared with the public, no matter the color of subjects. I thought the way in which, the story was brought to life on the big screen, was nothing short of genius. The nature of the sensitive subject matter, is difficult all by itself. The ability to fit so much of the experience of the story into a movie, is a skill set I have only dreamt about. The amount amazing people that made this film remarkable, is astounding. I could not help but to feel connected to these characters. By the end of the movie I was shedding tears of joy, finding forgiveness, peace, and a new understanding in some of my own family's history, to be quite moving.
Claws (2017)
Claws Is Raw!
Claws: all inclusive realness. A ride at "Fab-World", that I don't want to end!
Deadpool 2 (2018)
Another One, For Us "Big Kids"!
Friends, real ones, never really give up on You. And some people in our lives, are worth more than all the money in the world. We may from time to time, give up on ourselves, yes this is true; but then their are those special people in our lives, who seem to be able to pull us through. I am amazed that this group can find a way to express this loving sentiment, in a block busting action move. I found myself in tears, by the mastery of the image, music, and message cobination used in this film. Going to see it again.
General Electric Theater: The Red Balloon (1961)
An all time favorite.
This film perhaps, changed my life. The child and his circumstances really hit home with me. I don't exactly remember at what age i watched the film, bit i had lived long enough to know the lead characters pain. The Red Balloon, was the very first film that i completly understood, as a chap. The film left me with the connectedness i didn't even know existed. An all time favorite.
