The Operative (2019)
Suspenseful spy drama
A good spy thriller that keeps you guessing. However I'm not sure why the description says there is no violence. There is plenty, including attempted rape.
El inocente (2021)
More misogynistic violence served up as entertainment
This started off as a promising mystery but devolved into nothing but violence against women. One entire episode was nothing but men kicking women in the face and raping young girls. Pathetic.
Behind Her Eyes: Behind Her Eyes (2021)
A slow burn but an amazing payoff
It takes a long time to get there, but the ending will blow you away. Great performances. Keeps you guessing.
Tenet (2020)
More violent abuse of women served up as entertainment
Too bad Christopher Nolan is too stupid to think of a story that doesn't hinge on beating the crap out of a woman. Very sad because John David Washington is quite good. Cannot recommend.
The Accident (2019)
Decent premise but turns bizarre & incomprehensible
The story starts off good but soon all the characters turn into monsters. Nobody acts like a normal person. The council leader is a violent abuser, but that's treated as a joke. As the episodes progress, it's a contest to see who is the most vile. Waste of time.
La casa de papel (2017)
Exciting but doomed by unbelievability
This was like Oceans 11 meets Die Hard. Lots of cool action. But there were 2 problems: too many unbelievable plot points, like the inspector randomly leaving the site to go out for drinks several times, and too much misogyny. Lots of degradation and abuse of the women characters. Too bad. Could have been great.
