Sseom (2004)
Nice dreamy thriller.
This is a nice movie. The dreamy sequences in this movie gives it a wee bit of a surreal edge. The actors and the plot is nice and even if it's not the ultimate masterpiece, it's got a nice atmosphere to it. I forgot everything else when I watched this movie, which is as good a rating I can give to a non-masterpiece. I like Korean movies since the urban feeling of the west is there, but with the nice spice of the Korean culture with it's peculiarities. This is just another one of a large number of good korean movies I have seen the last years. And I would like to say just that - it's got enough freshness to provide a nice alternative to what-you-have-already-seen-5000-times-boredom. Do not miss it.

Really interesting drama
This movie took me by storm.
This is a great movie about love between siblings.
I loved it and I forgot everything else when I watched it. The theme for the movie is not common, and something like this just catches your attention by it's provocative nature.
The filming is a bit of the Danish Dogma style, since most of the filming is made from the brothers hand-camera, from his point of view. It is all right, it does not disturb me, but rather gives it a documentary feeling.
The script is very nice, and it is not that easy to figure out just what is coming to you.
The acting is also very good. I love the actors. They play well, convincingly, and are charming in a natural way.
I can only recommend this movie to all serious movie-lovers. Movies like this, that not only are not afraid of sensitive themes, but also dare to present them this beautifully, is the reason I love movies.

Weird and empty of content
This movie is a long, painful description of a horror-labor-camp on Balkan. The idea with this movie, is however very hard for me to understand. There is nothing in the story that leads it on to somewhere. It just stands still without a (obvious) purpose. The scenes are not very interesting, since they mostly are the same, and even though the situation actually changes a bit, nothing interesting happens. I might have missed something here, but it must have been quite a lot I missed, in that case, cause this movie is not worth seeing. Unless it has some semi-documentary value, it can be thrown away, if you ask me. Do not see it.
