Nikhoj (2022)
One of the best from Chorki!!
I dont know why there wasn't much advertising and promotion for this web-series but in my huble opinion, this is one of the best, well put together web-series that Chokri has released. The story line, charecter development, plot progression and the cast, everything checked up. In the lights of so many "promoted" and yet wprst web-series put there, this one is so good. Not a single episode is that which is going to make you question about the main plot. Web series that are released in recent times have this over bearing problem of not having a strong story line and containing major plot holes. This series is never going to make you experience that. Overall this is one of the best web series released by Chorki.
The Good Fight: The End of Eli Gold (2022)
Eli Gold (Alan Cumming) is Love!!!!
Loved every bit of this episode. What was missing in this episode?? The excitement, the drama, the intensity; at one point it was so hard to guess what was going to happen in the next scene.
Eli Gold and Marissa Gold are two spectacular character that just elevates the humor and excitement of this show. Well, the show is on its 6th season, and 3 of the major characters left the show, but yet, this show is going so strong. Most spin-off show losses its appeal after 1/2 seasons. But this show is stuck to its roots and making it so successful.
All I want is to see more episode involving Eli Gold. Alicia Florrick's guest appearance would be a cherry on the top.
The Rookie: Feds: Day One (2022)
Pretty Decent Pilot!!!
The pilot was good, but it could have been better. For example, it could have given some background to why Nash left her guidance career. This was something that was only mentioned in The Rookie but this spinoff could have included that. Similarly, this episode could also have included nash's partner (the one they were calling the actor from vampire cops) backstory to what motivated him to join FBI. I think, except for that, the whole pilot was amazing. It had all the all the elements that we love about The Rookie show. Can not wait for next week's episode. The only thing I hope for is to see Nash facing more challenges that Nathan Fillion faced in his rookie days.
The Blacklist: The Bear Mask (2022)
Much needed episode for charecter development!!! Damn, I miss Agent Samar!!!
Let me start with the ending of the episode. One of the reason, I love this TV show is because of this small yet impactful attention to details in terms of showing tribute & respect to the crew/actors who have died while the show was running. This is what it makes a show stand-out from the100 other TV shows. We have see this is other episodes of the blacklist and this episode was no different from that. 10/10 for that.
Now about the episode. I think this episode was important for charecter development. We have been seeing this for the last few seasons that how Aram has been traumatized with everything that is happening to his closest people. In fact everyone of this taskforce had experienced some level of trauma after they started working in the task force. We have seen Park and Ressler coming out of a loop of traumatic event and now it was Aram's turn and I would very much want him to be in his excellent state for what is coming in the future events.
I am still confused who is part in this huge conspiracy to put Harold in this situation and was responsible for Elizabeth's death. That lady in the balcony matched 50% DNA sample with Mr Kaplan and question remains that who made the trap for Reddington's crew to fall for it All I can think of is someone who has much more access to Reddington and also knows the taskforce members from inside & out. Marven Gerrad can do that but he does not have the motive to do such thing. But, someone from the government can, who might want to end this Taskforce and Reddington altogether. That's a speculation that I want to believe in, but hey, something big is coming, something that we are not anticipating. The more I think of it, the more nervous yet excited I get.
The other thing is that, I realized after so many episodes that Agent Samar was such a badass charecter and I think her coming back from her medical condition and rejoining the task force would be so cool. Only 3 episode left for this season. Something big and upsetting is coming and till then good wishes to the writers , actors and crew members.
10/10 for the episode!!!
The Blacklist: Laszlo Jankowics (No. 180) (2022)
This is such a so so Blacklist episode!!!
I can't believe this last scene of the episode; Weecha and the other crews/associates of Reddington walked into a trap while capturing (at least that is what they thought) Mr. Kaplan. At this point I am conflicted into two possible outcomes, either 1) Mr. Kaplan is alive and now she is making bigger moves than Reddington has anticipated, or, 2) Someone close to Mr. Kaplan is taking revenge on Reddington, this someone might probable knows Reddington much much better that Reddington is estimating. Damn!! Those 45 minutes long episode, the excitement and surprises, just wonderful and wonderful. I don't think I would ever complain for a single minute.
Moreover for the first time, we saw Harold getting desperate and anxious, this was some out different, developing and different perks of a character, loved it. Aram taking a step forward and showing the sighs of being a good leader, all of these were amazing. I so want Harold cooper to get out of this mess and rejoin as the Assistant Director of the Task Force. So much to come in the upcoming episodes and 10/10 for this episode.
The Endgame: Beauty and the Beast (2022)
This was so far the best episode of this season!!!
Despite having a lackluster episodes and failing to establish why Elena Fedarova is to be feared, this episode is by far the best episode this season has so far offered. Every minutes of this episode gave goosebumps and it was full of excitement. I hope the season ends on a high note and thus gets picked for season 2. Loved this episode!!
The Blacklist: El Conejo (No. 177) (2022)
This wasn't the ending I ever anticipated!!!
Such a wonderful opening to start with this episode. And then when I think about the how the episode ended, I could never imagine what was coming next; the ending raises the question, did Mr Kaplan faked his death, like she did for Elizabeth Keen's?? Well, if we think pragmatically, Raymond or task force never found her body.
On another scene, we could could catch up with what Aramnhad been doing in these past 2 years, he a man of morality and good ethics; but also stupid enough to trust his greedy friend. Man, this show certainly shows how some people would never let go of taking revenge and how not to trust a greedy friend.
10/10 for this episode, specially to how it started and how the story went.
The Blacklist: Helen Maghi (No. 172) (2022)
Heartbreaking scenes for Harold Cooper and Agent Aram deserves more love!!!
Deception, Lines Crossed; these words are synonymous for the infamous Raymond Reddington. But the Taskforce doing it and that too with Mr. Red, takes it to a whole different level . Reddington assigned the taskforce with a blacklister, Helen Maghi; not to find her but to release her from FBI's investigation so that she can help him find a lead on Agent Keen's murderer/Cooper's blackmailer. Upon digging, the taskforce found that the blacklister was supplying weapons to some terrorist organization and Amar being the new taskforce head (yeah, no one saw that coming) refused to release her. Upon request, Aram did allow Reddington to seek Helen Maghi's assistance but soon after the work was done, Aram dispatched an unit (Reddington had no prior knowledge about Aram planning this to do) to capture Helen; this incident upset Reddington who almost went for not continuing to work with the taskforce anymore; had it been Harold making him understand about the situation.
Reddington on another scene, demanded Panabaker to pull some strings to give Harold a few weeks to proof his innocence. Upon Panabaker's denial, Reddington reminded her about the incident that happened few weeks before and make her remember about her desperate situation; eventually that made her compelled to pull some favors for Harold.
Overall, this was a good follow-up episode. The situation and conspiracy over the current investigation is getting intense and does point to a higher authority/powerful people involve over the incident. Until that comes out, this season is just giving me goosebumps. 10/10 on the episode, and specially to Aram for showing that bold statement.
The Blacklist: Andrew Kennison (No. 185) (2022)
Its getting better and better!!!
If that last 8 minutes action and climax did not give you goosebumps, I don't know what else can make you reconsider this show worth your time. This was such a well defined and well documented episode. The person blackmailing Harold Cooper and the one who planted the tracking device on Agent Keen is the same people. This episode tied the two stories together that has been long going after the start of Season 9. Right after picking up the guy, Panabaker ordered Agent Ressler to interrogate the suspect but before starting the interrogation, the suspect's lawyer showed up. In the middle of arguing with the lawyer, Panabaker and the whole task force got to know that the lawyer knows all about the investigation of Agent Keen's murder, heck the team was surprised to see how the lawyer was able to show up so quickly in an FBI Black Site. They understood that the conspiracy is going far deep with in system; which Raymond was also warning Panabaker in one scene. With no other option, the taskforce had to release the suspect; on the other hand Raymond was preparing to infiltrate those two (the suspect and his lawyer) right after they exit from the black site. But in quick few seconds, both of them get shot and killed. The only lead Raymond had to find the assassination of Agent Keen is now gone, Harold is now facing felony charges for tempering evidences and Panabaker is finding it hard to keep the task force together. This was such a great episode, so much excitement and goosebumps. Damn!!! Can not wait for next week's episode. 10/10 to the cast, writers and the whole production unit.
The Blacklist: Eva Mason (No. 181) (2022)
A well put together episode with a happy ending!!
In this episode Cynthia Panabaker approached Reddington for a help, which she would never asked if not for the circumstances; her daughter-in-law has been kidnapped and was fond by two campers in a forest area. The victim immediately when to a coma because of which Panabaker came to Reddington to find the people involved in this kidnapping. The taskforce started investigating and came to know few other victims who all are linked to a fund raising program (the fund raising program was for the children who has various medical complicacy and conditions). The task force was eventually able to find the location where the victims where kept and to their surprise every one of them started growing medical complicacies similar to their children. They were successful in capturing one of the perpetrator but wasn't able to make her talk.
Panabaker took the perpetrator to Reddington and by the help of his associate, the perpetrator started talking. According to the lady involved in the kidnapping told that, the mothers who she kidnapped where intentionally making their kids sick (also known as Munchausen syndrome by proxy) and that they were trying to keep the children safe from their mentally sick mothers. The confession came true.
Reddington is still investigating the microchip found in Agent keen's body and in one scene we were also able to see the loving father figure in Reddington. He has found a lead on the microchip and now planning to find the person who initially funded the microchip for medical use a few years back.
The episode ended with the taskforce team celebrates Ressler's 2 month on getting involved in any addiction. I actually like loved this ending and it shows how strong the taskforce team is now since the start of Season 9. It has been quite a long time since the task force could enjoy a breath of fresh air and enjoying environment. But I am still disappointed with Ressler's stupid behavior in the show and want to see his back on being Agent Ressler again.
It was a good episode and loved every moment of it.
The Blacklist: The Conglomerate (No. 142) (2022)
If this isn't the same old Blacklist show, then I dont know what else can be!!
This episode focused on Agent Park and Reddington's search for Keen's death. Agent Park, after the death of Elizabeth Keen, joined a group of former spies, who's job was to assassin corrupt political leaders, military officers etc. Etc. To protect the country. Soon the group turned into a cult of assassin who worked for money to kill anyone. This cult's name is the conglomerate which is our new blacklister.
Reddington got to know about a device tracking Elizabeth till her death. He searched her dress to find the tracking device. No luck on finding that. Now Reddington is starting from the place where Elizabeth was last alive to search for the tracking device.
This was a wholesome Blacklist episode. Damn!!! The excitement it generating while watching; enjoyed every moments of it. Thanks to the creators and the actors.
The Blacklist: Boukman Baptiste (No. 164) (2022)
We finally have an actual enemy!!! Red and Dembe shakes hand like a good boy!!!
This episode was very much focused on Dembe; how the events occurred after the death of Elizabeth, how Dembe had to oversee Red's criminal empire and what made him join the FBI. This was a much needed episode for 2 reasons; 1) For the story building perspective, 2) To overcome the distance and misunderstanding between Red & Dembe.
We now finally know that, Dembe did not lead the Townsends near Elizabeth and that he was not partially responsible for her death. It is safe to assume that someone from the inside passed the information. Overall this was a perfect back to back episode. This is what we love about the Blacklist, we can not fully assume what is going to happen.
I wonder if Red is planning to groom his(her) grand daughter; god knows well and the excitement for the future episodes is immersive.
Madam Secretary (2014)
One of best TV shows; incorporating timed world events!! Yet underrated!!
In my opinion, this is one best TV shows by CBS and America as a whole. Why I said that? Before answering this, I have to point this out that, I have started watching this show at the end 2021 on streaming sites and therefore, my experience would be different from others who had watched this show on TV.
Now to answer the question, if you look closely and carefully, you would see a powerful female lead, who is trying everything to perform the duties of her office, she is constantly working on her marriage and she is nevertheless, a loving mother. This show in my opinion is one of the best Family/Political TV shows that an American TV show can offer. The best Aspect of the TV show?? This TV show is bold towards incorporating timed world event, for example, in Season 4, Episode 15 (aired on 2017), the episode featured the Rohingya crisis, How Bangladesh got flooded with millions of refugees and how Myanmar repeatedly failing to acknowledge the ethnic group. There are countless events that this show incorporated in almost all the episodes that which were recent at that times. This is incredible.
The chemistry between Elizabeth & Henry and the quest of being a "Better" parent is inspiring, something we all can learn. I just love this show.
I hope more shows (that are in the family/political genre) try to incorporate this format, we either see shows that are entirely family oriented or that are entirely based on politics. However, real life is not that one dimensional, this show did a wonderful job in fulfilling that gap.
Thanks to Barbara Hill and the actors for such a wonderful. This show deserves a much higher rating that it is currently standing on.
The Blacklist: Dr. Razmik Maier (No. 168) (2022)
One of the best episodes of S09
This episode is exactly the reason we became a fan of this show. There is no doubt that this episode was so far one of the best episodes of S09. Enjoyed every moment of the hunt for criminals (yes there were 2 criminals including a blacklister). However, it was very heart breaking to see Red ending all relationship with Dembe. It was difficult to see them get apart. Moreover, this mystery of Harold cooper is getting intense. Enjoyed every bit of the show on a chilly weekend. Hope to see more from this show.
Rudrabinar Obhishaap (2021)
The storyline and visualization is supurb!! It even surpass Tansener Tanpura in some episodes.
When I first started watching Tansener Tanpura, it was difficult to keep in track of the storyline and the mystery it was trying to uncover. Rudrabinar Obhishaap, in this case made it easier for the audience to understand what was happening and the show was successful in keeping the excitement alive while every episodes end. I think it was due to the fact that, at the beginning, the show gave us a little history lesson about rudrabina, rudrapur and the curse it has been bearing ever since.
In my opinion, this show was much more straight forward and the storyline was easy to grasp. The constant suspense of who else might get hurt/killed, why those characters got killed and what was the motivation for Naad to kill Salamaat and Noor Jahan was thrilling. It mind boggling and insightful as how cultural and societal knot bind us to do certain things that we, at one point, even start to hate (Naad hating himself for kjilling Noor Jahan and seeing Saaz crying).
In one word, I loved every single episodes of this show. The couple, Sruti and Alap is a refreshing duo, which makes us laugh and smile, inspires us to look for mysteries and new knowledge. This is want Bengali couples represent.
It would be an injustice if I don't mention about the songs. Every single episode has such a unique and "chomotkar" songs. They are so refreshing, the use of musical instrument is so so good. MashAllah.
I can not wait for the next part of the show that is suppose to release on April 2022. Hope to see more of Alap, Sruti and this whole music loving community. This is such a refreshing show and I hope more people enjoy this series. Thank you so much to the writers, producers and the actors for such a wonderful refreshing thrilling series.
The Blacklist: Between Sleep and Awake (2022)
The perfect episode this season needed the most!!!!!
First of all, I must say this is the exact episode I was hoping for when I saw the first episode of this season. Also, I never thought to see Donald crying. He so deserves to get an entire episode.
If we place ourselves on "Donald''s shoes, we can easily understand how important it is to grief. Losing the best friend and the love of your life can make anyone go crazy. In those situations, we make stupid mistakes. I think, this version of Donald Ressler can be anyone of us, and thus creates the importance of grieving. Sudden shock and suffering can get the best of us, and Donald Ressler portrait the perfect example of that. From and FBI Agent to a Junkie to get on his feet again. This is what makes The Blacklist so incredible; this show is such a perfect portrayal of certain aspect of real life.
Thanks for this perfect episode on a perfect New Year's weekend. Thanks to the writers, the produces and most importantly the actors for perfectly making this happen; "Between Sleep & Awake".
If I were to suggest, I would definitely want to see how Dembe, Red and specially Agnes did, in these 2 years. I am eager to see if Dembe really let Elizabeth to read the letter. The COVID and recent US Election can also be a possible plot line for future episode; not to mention the return of serial killer Dexter can also be a potential episode. There is so much potential for this TV show and I looking forward to the success of this season and I wish to see more seasons. Can not wait for the future episodes. Till then, all hail The Blacklist.
The Blacklist: Dr. Roberta Sand, Ph.D. (No. 153) (2021)
What an Episode!!! No one ever though this was coming!! DAMN!!!
Before going to the review, I would like to say that, I, personally missed Donald Ressler. I really missed him and hope to see him in next episodes.
Now, into the real part. Did she really said the finger print matched with Elizabeth's finger print? Umm, did she again faked her own death!!!??? OMG. This last few minutes just made me so excited, it so made me want to believe, if there is a small window to see Elizabeth Keen is still alive. Damn!! That excitement is what I come back to this series, AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!!!
Now about the Blacklister. Who had though a therapist can be used for that purpose. This series has shown us how incredible crime world can be and how creative criminals are to sustain in this lawful world; and the series lived up to that height once again. LOVED THE EPISODE!!! In the coming three months, something big is sure to come since Dr Sand is now Red's newest associate. I can not imagine the endless possibilities to this kind of association.
Now about the issue with Harold Cooper, umm, is it Panabaker manipulating Cooper to get rid of the taskforce or is it his wife?? The phone called just twisted everything. Someone with that level access to surveillance camera and audio, someone with high level government access, who knows!!!!
Just loved every moment of this show. I am going to say it again, the old BLACKLIST is back with all its glory. Hope to see some more actions. And thank you so much for the wonderful episode.
The Lost Symbol (2021)
Perfect portrayal of Dan Brown's Master Piece; 2nd Season is a MUST
I always had this desire to see a longer version of screen play of contents made from Dan Brown's novels. A 1.5 hour movie does not do much of a justice to his great writings. This time around, the TV show made perfect scene to that narrative and the TV show lived up to much expectation. I am not going to lie, but I had doubts on how the actor is going to play the role of Robert Langdon after the Movies (adopted on the novels) had created such a high bar. Ashley Zukerman did more that what I imagined. Hats off to this actor for embedding himself into the character. I can not wait to SEE THE 2ND SEASON of the show. Thank you so much to the actors, writers and producers of the show.
One other thing, people stream this show on Amazon Prime or Netflix, so that people living in South Asia (Bangladesh, India, Pakistan) can also enjoy streaming it directly.
The Blacklist: Benjamin T. Okara (No. 183) (2021)
Things for which we love The Blacklist TV Show
Heart breaks, betrayal, CROSSING THE LINE, Friendship, Trust & HONESTY above all; these are few of the words that any of fan of this TV show can say to express their experience with the show throughout all these seasons. This is what The Blacklist is good at, this is why, we the fans, love this show. And every bit of that sense is being filled up by this season and every episodes so far. Thanks to the writers & producers for producing that and to the actors for perfectly executing that.
For of the outstanding things to mention; 1) short yet amazing performance by Red's new associate, Jeffrey; well I miss his father but he perfectly filled in the place for the show. 2) Park's pregnancy, this character represents everyone who has a complicated life but tries every possible way to avoid making a mass. 3) Harrold and Ressler, these guys are simple the perfect portrayal of "Worst situation can get the best of us". 4) Aram is the supportive & smart brother that we all hope to have in our life. 5) Dembe & Red, I think they are the perfect portrayal of friendship, honesty, trust. I almost cried seeing the last few minutes of the episode. One thing I have to mention, Red being the new skinner add a lot of responsibility in the criminal world on Red's shoulder. I hope we get to see more of the "New Skinner" role in the upcoming episodes. Dembe as an FBI Agent and somewhat filling the shoes of Elizabeth Keen is MIND BLOWING.
There is a lot more to offer by the show. And as always, that's to the writers for this entertaining weekend. Thank you.
Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti (2020)
Oshadharon
One of best, if not the best, movies I have watched in recent times. The lead character kind of reminded me of Raja Ram Mohan Roy. I hope people had the opportunity and intellect to understand the true essence of this movie. Religious sentiment stigmatize and segregates multiple NATURAL aspects of our life AND every single religion is.
The Blacklist: The Avenging Angel (No. 49) (2021)
The Blacklist is back!!!
Enjoying every bit of it. I am still confused what Harold Cooper end up in the parking garadge. Also, this junky Ressler is killing me; just want him to be the old Agent Ressler in his suits. This episode reminds of The Judge blacklister from Season 01. Raymond is just fabulous; I want this season to tell more about how Raymond went to Nepal and put himself together after the death of Elizabeth Keen. Loving every bit of this season.
Btw, Thanks for the perfect weekend. Love from Bangladesh to the writers.
Byomkesh: Chorabali (2021)
A perfect weekend, pujar chuti and sharatkal 🎉🎉
Anirban Chowdhury needs no introduction for his perfect portrayal of Byomkesh Bakshi, just love the way he handles the character; MashAllah MashAllah.
Arjun Chakrabarty at his best and I could not stopping waiting to for the episode to get released right after seeing the trailer.
I love how the series is portraying the socio-cultural and political aspect of the '47 partition. Blending in the history, Social and political aspect with in the scene play is one of the reason why I am huge fan of the Byumkash Bakshi series.
Thank you so much to the actors , actresses and writers in particular for a perfect holiday and I wish to see this series gets more and more seasons.
The Blacklist: The SPK (No. 178) (2021)
The Blacklist is Back in action!!!
I almost had a heart-attack when Aram had this slight dilemma to choose the FBI job or start his own company. It would have been devastating if he would have left the FBI; thank god he hasn't. Ressler and park is at the top of their game and I love how they are guiding each other; such an important character development. Reddington, my man, I love how effortlessly he has become from being utterly ruthless to a more calm and calculative criminal over the time. I am still waiting to see how the story for Dembe gets developed, his story of becoming an FBI agent is necessary for the season. Overall, I thank the writing and producer of the show for giving me such a wonderful weekend. Just a wild suggestion, is it possible to show how these two years have passed after the death of Elizabeth Keen, like how life of all the character changed and how Reddington got hold of his associate (I can not remember the name of that lady). Anyways, thank you so much for the show and I believe, The Blacklist has a lot to offer in the coming episodes and seasons.
The Politician (2019)
One of the Best Shows on Netflix
In my opinion, this show diligently portrays how politics & voters emotion work; however unlike the real world scenario, this show also tries to capture how change is needed and how simply we overlook the aspect of demanding from our leaders and politicians. I love how the story behind the characters have developed and how essential it is to have idealism as well as pragmatism. Most often, pragmatic leaders win over idealists and this show simply points the necessity of having both of them to become a good leader. I really wish to see more seasons (perhaps 3 more seasons; but it seems like the producers are still skeptical even to have a 3rd season) of this show. These are the type of show we need to have a relaxing weekend.
The Blacklist (2013)
Season 9 is hot!!!!
I cried seeing the taskforce getting reinstated in the 2nd Episode of Season 9. Yes, I think in the next episodes need to build the storyline for how Dembe got into the FBI, otherwise I am enjoying every part of the show. Thanks to the produces for a good weekend. Thank you so much and I am enjoying every moment of it.
