Isle of Dogs (2018)
(Un)expectedly fantastic!
As a dog lover and anime-hater I expected to be less than impressed by this offering, despite the director's credentials. However, it proves that man's best friend (and their friends) speak a language that may be neither Japanese nor English, but one we all understand. Amazed by how universal and diverse this movie could appeal. Dogs love us maybe because we conditioned them to do so, but they are also smart. The only thing that stops me giving this a 10 is the slightly different animation and not the Japanese thing which I originally thought would lead to minus marks.
Cunk on Britain (2016)
History Revision for Imbeciles
Gutter television from the BBC sadly, failing in both the spirit and essence of parody. Attempting to fall between an "idiots " and a "comedic" perspective both comedy and perspective are lost. Garbage.
