Trespass (1992)
Cool movie
Back in 1992, I was a sophomore in high school and saw this in the theater. Not sure what is better - the movie or the soundtrack. The cast rocks! Of course, Ice T has now sold out and plays a cop...how pathetic is that. But in 1992, he was still playing the gangster role.
Cube rocks in this movie, so does the crack head...the limo driver guy from Die Hard.
A great movie for the time you need some action. I'm busting' it out on DVD from my DVR right now. See the movie, check out the soundtrack. If you like this movie, check out Judgement Night. From the same time period, also with a great soundtrack.
Beerfest (2006)
Great movie after drinking
Just saw the movie, literally 30 minutes ago. Slammed four Sam Adams Oktoberfests in the 30 minutes before the movie...almost puked on the foam walking to the theater! (also has a Labatt 22 and Blue Moon 22 just before that...) The movie was great, nothing special, just another comedy to drink while drinking some beers.
Das Boot!
Not much else to say. Seeing Willie Nelson at the end was cool...waiting for Potfest! Having some German language (and Japanese in one scene) experience helps. Understood a bit more. I threw away my college beer bong a couple of year ago. Should have kept it.
Das ist gut! Domo arigatou gozaimasu!
Whats with the German and Japanese trying to be being edited by IMDb?
Bottom line - buy the movie when it comes out. I hear August 25 is the only day it is int he theater.
Collision Course (1989)
Cool for use Detroit Auto Engineers
The acting is pretty cheesy, but for the people in this area up in the 80s and are now Detroit area automotive engineers, this is a great movie. I even work with a Japanese supplier so that makes this movie even more funny.
Jay Leno was showing his age last night on The Tonight Show! He looks pretty young here...17 years ago. The opening scene, with the drag race on what appears to be Woodward Ave was great.
Leno also owns some bad a** cars now, it would e great to see a remake of this with his modern collection. I'm sure the blown Vette in the opening scene was his own car.
Typical 80s movie. Watch it and enjoy. No computer generated crap!
Romancing the Stone (1984)
Saw this on HBO the night it premiered,,,
I'll never forget the night this came on HBO the first time...I was about seven. My dad and I watched it and now I own the DVD. It is a good movie. Kind of boring in a few spots, but the Shelby Cobra 427 scene is one you don't forget...along with the Bronco, or was it F-100/F-150? Good action, check it out.
